Former Ottawa teacher charged with sex-related offences
(Ottawa)—Last week, the Ottawa Police Service Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Section charged a Morrisburg man following an investigation into allegations that he inappropriately touched a male student.
The incident occurred when the man was in the course of his duties as an Ottawa teacher in the late 70s, while employed by the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board.
On October 18th, 2018, the Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Unit charged Robert CLARKE, 74 years old, of Morrisburg with Gross Indecency.
He will appear on October 24, 2018.
Officers are continuing the investigation and are concerned there could be more victims.
