On Friday, November 16, 2018, the OCEB Biker Enforcement Unit (BEU) supported by the Provincial Asset and Forfeiture Unit (PAFU), Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU), Barrie City Police Service, South Simcoe Police Service, Nottawasaga and Barrie OPP detachments and other support services sought and executed search warrants at residences in Barrie, Sebright and Innisfil.
During the execution of the warrants, members seized over nine kilograms of cocaine, heroin and other street drugs with an approximate value of $585,119, as well as cutting agents, drug paraphernalia, weigh scales, a quantity of Canadian and US currency and numerous firearms.
As a result of this investigation, six people were arrested and charged for multiple offences. Persons charged are:
Michael BELLETTI, 31-years-old, of Sebright, Ontario
- Careless Storage of Firearm as per section 86(1) of the Criminal Code (CC)
- Proceeds of Crime contrary to section 354(1) of the Criminal Code of Canada (CC) (x2)
- Possession of Cocaine for the purposes of trafficking as per section 5 (2) of the Controlled Drug and Substance Act (CDSA)
- Possession of Heroin for the purposes of trafficking as per section 5 (2) of the Controlled Drug and Substance Act (CDSA)
Michael SEPAGE, 29-years-old, of Barrie, Ontario
- Proceeds of Crime contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada (CC)
- Possession of Cocaine for the purposes of trafficking as per section 5 (2) of the Controlled Drug and Substance Act (CDSA)
- Possession of Heroin for the purposes of trafficking as per section 5 (2) of the Controlled Drug and Substance Act (CDSA)
Louis BELLETTI, 70-years-old, of Sebright, Ontario
- Breach of Firearms Regulation – Store firearm or restricted weapon contrary to section 86(2) of the Criminal Code of Canada (CC)
Alexander COUSINS, 24-years-old, of Innisfil, Ontario
- Possession of Cocaine for the purposes of trafficking as per section 5 (2) of the Controlled Drug and Substance Act (CDSA)
- Possession of Oxycodone for the purposes of trafficking as per section 5 (2) of the Controlled Drug and Substance Act (CDSA)
Nicole PEZZETTA, 27-years-old, of Innisfil, Ontario
- Possession of Cocaine for the purposes of trafficking as per section 5 (2) of the Controlled Drug and Substance Act (CDSA)
- Possession of Oxycodone for the purposes of trafficking as per section 5 (2) of the Controlled Drug and Substance Act (CDSA)
Seebastien HARIRAJ, 31-years-old, of Barrie, Ontario
- Proceeds of Crime contrary to section 354(1) of the Criminal Code of Canada (CC)
- Possession of Cocaine for the purposes of trafficking as per section 5 (2) of the Controlled Drug and Substance Act (CDSA)
All six persons are being held for a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice.
