WARRANT EXECUTED – DRUGS AND WEAPONS SEIZED
(NORTH DUNDAS, ON) On December 6, 2018, members of the SD&G OPP Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) and Emergency Response Team (ERT) officers executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act Search Warrant at a property on Beach Street, North Dundas Township. This resulted in the seizure of a quantity of crystal methamphetamine, marihuana, weapons (baton, hatchet, knife, pellet guns) and Canadian currency.
Christopher MCROBERTS (40) of North Dundas, Ontario was arrested and charged with;
– Possession of a controlled substance for purpose of trafficking
-Possession of illicit cannabis (Cannabis Act)
– Possession of weapon for dangerous purpose (2 counts)
– Fail to comply with conditions of an undertaking ( 2 counts)
Randy FROATS (23) of South Dundas, Ontario was arrested and charged with;
– Possession of a controlled substance
– Unauthorized possession of a weapon
– Possession of break in instruments
– Fail to comply with conditions of an undertaking ( 2 counts)
McRoberts and Froats were held in custody (bail) and are scheduled to appear Ontario court of justice in Cornwall.
Courtney ROBINSON (30) of Prescott, Ontario was arrested and charged with;
– Possession of a controlled substance
-Possession of illicit cannabis (Cannabis Act)
She was released and scheduled to appear in Morrisburg court on January 8, 2019.
