  1. My deepest condolences to Evelyn’s family. I had lost touch with her, I guess when she left the house at North Gower. Percy was a cousin My father, Fred Armstrong and Grover Armstrong were 1st cousins. So I always considered that Percy and I were therefore cousins. Over the years we had camped at similar sites, visited occasionally, ate at their chip wagon, and watched as then Brock came into their lives. Brock and our daughter Jennifer were in the same grades at Kars. We also saw each other at Holy Trinity North Gower at services or in small groups.
My husband John and Percy also worked on the Highways together.
I am so sorry that she had a difficult time at the end. A lovely, caring and compassionate woman. I will miss her. May she rest now in the arms of Jesus.

(I’d be open for any of the family to reach out to me. Freda)
