It wasn’t all fun and Hot Dogs. There was some serious speech making.
Here is Cornwall City Councilor and Darlene Jalbert’s campaign manager Elaine MacDonald in action.

There was a minor fracas as 3 people with placards who were handing out tracts heckled some of the supporters in the parade. You can hear a bit of it if you listen closely to this clip.

Elaine MacDonald, as head of the Cornwall and District Labour Council hosted the event which was sponsored by area Unions and Businesses. While the message was a bit partisan it was very open to everyone that attended. That’s a good thing for Cornwall and a super day for our community.

Jamie – the editor wrote -“A minor fracas…”. “fracas” means an uproar, a brawl according to Webster. I was there all the time and I neither saw nor heard this supposed “fracas” that Jamie speaks of? So it will be interesting to hear these supposed sound bites! And even better some real witnesses of such a brawl! There is a fine line between reporting news and drumming up news. I can imagine, hopefully, Jamie already knows this.
Hi, you may be right? Fracas may not be the right word? The clip is in the video and you can clearly hear someone defending themselves after something was said to them.
