Akwesasne Warriors fall to 1000 Island Privateers 8-4 – January 30, 2011 – Federal Hockey League Scores

Alexandria Bay NY - No fights for Joshua Desmarais today, but the pugilistic 21 year old Montrealer has been turning it on of late including a Hat Trick in the Warriors 8-4 loss to the 1000 Island Privateers.

The loss drops the Warriors to only a 46 percentage point lead over the Privateers in the standings.

Travis Stacey had 2 assists as well.   Both Stacey and Ahmed Mahfouz kept their gloves on in the fight free match.

With the loss of Carter Trevisani and Devin Bancroft coach Sanseverino has a challenge as he has to reshuffle his deck and find the winning recipe next week as the Warriors return for some home cooking at the Anowarako:wa arena.  The Privateers out shot the Warriors 32-28.   David Plouffe took the loss in goal.

In other Federal Hockey League scores; the Rome Frenzy edged the Cape Cod Barons 4-3, and the New York Aviators beat the Danbury Whalers 3-2.
