CFN – By invitation of Aline McDonald of KAB Gift Boutique (Pitt and 2nd Street area), Cornwall shoppers will be treated to free live entertainment this Saturday and next from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Jonny Yumang, accompanied by McDonald’s father, Ed Hughes, will set up in front of KAB. I got the impression that Yumang is praying that the nice weather holds.
The crowd at the R.C.A.F.A. Wing was wowed by Yumang at his November 30th performance at the Water Street club as were the vets at the Navy Club the following day.
Yumang has a broad range of musical interest spanning most genres, but, he admits, he’s particularly partial to Elvis – and does a very good impression of him. Speaking of impressions, that’s another of Yumang’s talents. Check out our short clip to see him impersonate some famous personalities such as Richard Nixon.
The former Montrealer/Torontonian is hoping to settle in Cornwall and wants to know who’s in need of a good on-air radio personality.
Here are a few excerpts from this morning (December 15th).
You can also check him out online. Yumang’s Facebook page is up-to-date. His music is available through Reverb Nation.
Here he is on-stage performing a well-known Engelbert Humperdinck number.
Don Smith reports on a variety of topics, notably good news items as well as social justice issues.
I really like the way ~Jonny Yumang~ can entertain a crowd with his sweet smile, his upbeat tunes and his “Elvisique moves and grooves..Way to Go Jonny! I hope to see more of You in and around Cornwall, for a very long time. 🙂 M.Baker

Jonny has a wonderful, deep baritone voice like Elvis and he’s as cute as can be and what else, he’s a very funny guy. If you get a chance to see him, don’t miss it. Ask him for some imitations.
Jon, I saw your latest video. It’s fantastic and I didn’t know that you did imitations of famous people. You should be on Canadain Idol. See you soon.
