BREACH

Cornwall, ON – A 23-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on May 24th, 2017 and charged with breach of undertaking and a non-communication order for communicating with his ex-common-law wife. It is alleged on May 6th, 2017 his ex-common-law wife received a letter from him despite his conditions and police were contacted to investigate. On May 24th, 2017 while at the Cornwall Courthouse for unrelated matters the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

Cornwall, ON – Raymond Gervais, 50 of Cornwall was arrested on May 24th, 2017 and charged with breach of two undertakings for failing to notify a change of address and for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged the man was in breach of his conditions when he moved in 2017 without notifying the Cornwall Community Police Service and an investigation ensued. On May 24th, 2017 the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
