CORNWALL — Provincial police have charged two Akwesasne police officers following a three-month investigation into a collision on Cornwall Island that killed a Massena, N.Y., couple and a suspected cigarette smuggler.
Const. Mike Biron was charged yesterday with criminal negligence causing death and dangerous driving, and Sgt. Kenneth Chaussi was charged with criminal negligence causing death.
