Almost anyone on the Islanders. There’s not much to buy though. Bill Guerin is about the only non-injured commodity anyone would want now that the Isles have traded Comrie.
Atlanta has a few players that will move and there still is talk about moving Kovalchuk. Look for Colby Armstrong to be wearing a new sweater.
Tampa Bay – As a Habs fan I really hope that Vinny doesn’t come to Montreal. Short term gain; long term pain. Bob Gainey doesn’t want this to be his legacy and I just don’t feel that Vinny’s surgically repaired shoulder will man up for the whole contract. Mark Recchi will be moving; probably Gary Roberts too. There are some interesting spare parts that Tampa can move.
Toronto – Lol, I’m not going to torture you Leaf fans….
Ottawa – Jason Spezza should be gone by deadline.
Florida – I still see Jacques Martin moving Boumester.
I’ll do the Western Conference next week as there are still a lot of bubble teams there.
