1st Night of the Play-offs – MacTavish Fired in Edmonton

B O X S C O R E S

The Rangers showed some grit and edged the Caps 4-3 in their first game opener in Washington.  The Caps came out strong in the first but King Henrik kept them in the game.

The Penguins beat Philly 4-1 with Malkin scoring a goal.   Those Penguins may make me look bad 🙂 Bill Guerin and Braydon Cobourn had a phight in a typical Philly game.

Marty didn’t get the shut out but NJ beat Carolina  4-1 in another surprise outcome.

Roberto Luongo led Vancouver to a 2-1 victory.   Daniel Sedin had a goal and an assist.

Geez, I’ve done so badly predicting games so far I’m not going to predict the western series although I think SJ will choke.
