Created in 2005 and named after the founders of the Cornwall chapter of PFLAG, it goes to the person in the community who has done the most to promote tolerance and acceptance of LGBT people in Cornwall and SD&G over the past twelve months.
The nominees for this year’s award are:
- ROGER FRAPPIER for developing educational programs and hosting seminars that promote tolerance and diversity to young people
- JOA GAMELIN for her incredible performance as the hostess of Pride 2008 and her passionate belief in acceptance and equality of all people
- ELAINE MacDONALD for her unwavering support of the Queer community and human rights in her roles as city councillor, educator, labour activist and friend to all
