Leafs Shut Out Habs in Montreal 3-0 – Monster Goes Down – December 2, 2009

09habsNot a fun morning to write about hockey for me.    Somehow the Habs lost to the Toronto Maple Leafs 3-0 last night.   And that with the starting goalie going off to the hospital with a racing heart.    Back up Joey MacDonald came in and finished the shut out.

I would not want to be at practice in Brossard this morning….. Scott Gomez was back in the line up Matt D’Agostini.   I’d really like to know how Kyle Chipchura managed a -2 in less than 2 minutes of play?

Blech

In other NHL scores n news SJ slapped Ottawa 5-2.   No goals by Dany Heatley and Milan Michalek potted the two Sens markers.   LA 4-3 over the Ducks and Chicago 4-3 shoot out winners over Columbus.

The sale of the Montreal Canadiens has been officially approved by the Board of Governors.   Congrats Molson family.  Now win a cup!

Alex Ovechkin has been suspended 2 games for his knee on knee incident.  Georges Laraque got 5; I guess it pays to be the greatest player on ice if you’re going to get nasty….

Once again you fair weather Montreal fans are in turmoil over their latest lose, which hurts even more because it was to Toronto. What a glass half empty attitude. You should take a lesson from us Leaf fans. The glass is empty but there is a rain cloude on the horizon.
