The Leafs cost me a Pro Line win last night as they were doubled by Phoenix 6-3. Teach me to ever bet on Toronto! NJ out shot Montreal 27-18 and eeked out a 2-1 win. Carey Price took the loss and Travis Moen hit the net with a short handed goal. The Habs are spending way too much time killing penalties instead of drawing them. The glaring need for a number one center is also starting to catch up with them. Plecky is super as a number 2, but Mr. Gomez has so far just not got the job done.
Saku Koivu scored the game winner as Anaheim beat Vancouver 3-2 in Vancouver. Marty Brodeur tied another of Patrick Roy’s records by playing his 1029 regular season game.
