8900 Grams of Suspected Marihuana Seized in Police Raid – Probably not Oregano – January 25, 2010

TRAFFIC STOP NETS DRUGS

(South Dundas) – On 22Jan10, at approximately 2:00pm, SD&G OPP officers had occasion to conduct a traffic stop on Highway 401, South Dundas Township.

The stop resulted in the seizure of approximately 8900grams of suspected marihuana. The 24yr old male driver (Patrick CASTAGNE of Mirabel, Que) was arrested and faces a charge of:

  • Possession for the Purpose

He is scheduled to appear 02Mar2010 in Morrisburg court.

The approximate street value of the seized drugs is $40,000.
