The pucks dropped for Men’s Hockey with BC Native Roberto Luongo shutting out Norway 8-0 in Canada’s quest for the gold. Canada’s goals were by Mike Richards, Corey Perry, Ryan Getzlaf, Rick Nash and pairs from Dany Heatley and Jarome Iginla.
Team Russia gave up two goals to Latvia in their 8-2 opening victory as Team USA struggled to beat Switzerland 3-1.
