Not a good night for Canadian Hockey teams – Habs lose fall to 10th place in conference, Leafs lose, Ottawa Stomped by Carolina! Cornwall Ontario – March 5, 2010-

You can’t give Messers Marleau, Heatley, or anyone really in the NHL 5+ shots on goal per game and expect to win.   The Habs gave a gritty performance, but it wasn’t quite enough as they lost to the San Jose Sharks 3-2 in regulation time.   Carey Price took the loss which means it should be Halak time!    Montreal fell to 10th place in the standings with the Boston win which would have them out of the play offs.   The only way this team can get into the play offs is by winning; almost every  game left too.

Toronto in their ever increasing goal of making that 1st round pick they gave up for Phil Kessel look good lost to the Bruins 3-2 as well.

Ottawa was blown away  4-1 by the Carolina Hurricanes.
