Halak Shallacks the Caps – Habs Force GAME 7 with 4-1 Victory over Washington! PK Subban makes Play Off Debut – Cornwall Ontario – April 26, 2010

Cornwall ON – Jaroslav Halak needs about 30 shots to warm up.  By the time he gets to 40 he’s loose, and when you shoot 50 pucks at him in a night he becomes red hot as he was tonight as he literally stood on his head and with the help of Hal Gill only let one puck get by him as The Montreal Canadiens forced Game 7 in Washington to become a reality.

Led by my favorite Hab, Mike Cammallieri, who scored two goals early to make Alex Ovechkin very unhappy the night also featured the play off debut of future Canadien’s star D man PK Subban who assisted on one of Cammallieri’s goals.

It only gets easier.  One more win and the competition gets easier.

Boston finished off Buffalo winning 4-3 with former Hab Mark Recchi turning back the clock as he led the Bruins.

The Chicago Black Hawks moved forward to their next play off round finishing off the Nashville Predators 5-3.
