Cornwall ON – The Grind Internet Cafe and Espresso Bar, located at 35 Second Street East will be celebrating its grand opening on May 15th, between 5 pm and 10 pm. Owners, Sue and Kay Martin would like to extend an invitation to everyone to attend the opening.
“We’re incredibly excited about the reception we’ve had so far and we are thrilled to officially announce our opening to the public.” said Sue Martin. “We hope everyone comes out to enjoy the warm and friendly environment we’ve created right here in the heart of Cornwall’s downtown.”
The Grind’s doors opened in early April for a soft launch to an anxious coffee craving crowd and have been busy every since.
Coffee isn’t the only thing on the menu at The Grind. Tasty soups, sandwiches, tea and gourmet sweets and more are
available for those looking to grab a lunch or a snack!

good news! Nice to see new business opening. Good luck!!
congrats! you guys make my thursday mornings great:)
it is just wonderful to have such a welcoming, funky and delicious spot in town.
Is it just me or is the new Internet Cafe closed at times we need it to be open. I went by Saturday afternoon and they were closed. To me an internet cafe should be open at all times to accomodate those who need to get on-line. Am I wrong?
Cornwall has needed a lovely cafe like this one. The staff are great, the food and coffee is amazing.
Ontarian…what is wrong with you? Open at all times? They open at 7:30 am…open 2 evenings a week, they are open Saturdays, until 3pm. The sign is on the door! They also deserve a day off too, so taking Sunday off is well deserved. If you can’t fit those times into your schedule, get your own wireless account!
Spoken like a true latte fan. Do you put cinnamon on yours?
