Former NHL Enforcer Bob Probert Passes Away at 45 – Red Wing & Black Haw Great RIP

Cornwall ON – One of the men that personafied the role of ENFORCER in the NHL has passed away at the age of 45.   Bob Probert is survived by his wife and four children.   He suffered from Drug and Alcohol issues during his career, but recently had been supporting Canadian troops and raising money for charity by playing Alumni Hockey games.

He also competed on Battle of the Blades on CBC; a show the combined Hockey Players with Figure Skaters.   While considered one of the worst shows and concepts in Television history the show was renewed for a second season.
