Cornwall ON – One of my favorite comics, Robert Schimmel has died in a auto accident.
Robert Schimmel lived in Scottsdale. The 60-year-old comedian has been a frequent guest on “Late Night with Conan O’Brien” and on Howard Stern’s radio show. His 2008 memoir, “Cancer on $5 a Day,” chronicles his battle with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma.
Robert was a traditional kind of comic. Poop, Fart, and Penis jokes were his turf. His delivery was predictable, yet polished and near perfect.

He refused to sanitize most of his material which impacted his ability to go fully mainstream and was a hallmark of Nasty Shows in Comedy.
