Monument de la Francophonie Unveiling 1:30 PM at the Corner of Race, Adolphus and Water Street in Cornwall Ontario – September 12, 2010

Cornwall ON – 1:30 PM at the Cornwall of Race – Adolphus, and Water Street The Monument to the Franophonie of Cornwall Ontario will be unveiled.   A tent is up and it should be a moving ceremony which we’ll  have pictures of later in the day.

The Richelieu Club funded the project with community support and a Trillium grant.

    Bien sûr, Smee! Monument de la francophonie a été une cérémonie très bonne. Le français est important dans notre ville. Ma grand-mère est française. J’ai toujours regardé le hockey Canadiens à la télévision. Dimanche dernier, je portais ma chemise de Maurice Richard. (Excusez-moi, mon français n’est pas parfait).
