Cornwall ON – The City is reminding people that its going to continue street service for flood damaged goods.
The City would like to remind citizens that the special pickup of water-damaged materials is still available. The service originally scheduled to finish on Friday, October 8th with an option to continue, is in fact being extended to help dispose of curb side waste generated by the heavy rain fall from September 30th.
This service is separate from the City’s normal solid waste collection program and has been contracted to Hec’s Tree Service. There is no cost to the property owner for this service.

Confirmation that goods are at the roadPlease note that this special pickup service is for water-damaged materials only. Regular garbage and blue/black box pickup will continue as normal, as does normal landfill drop-off rules and fees.
