Cornwall ON – The end of an era came as Bill Tarmey (Jack Duckworth) ended his 31 year stint on Coronation Street. I feel very moist eyed as I grew up on Corrie and actually remember watching Jack, (and of course Vera) way back in 1979.
The episode is lining up as a two hanky weeper even for us manly Corrie fans. I can’t talk about it; not because of legal fears, but because it’s…..just hard saying goodbye to someone that was in the peripheral of your life for so long.

Here in Canada we’re going to have to wait a long time to see the episode. We still haven’t seen Blanche die yet. (Maggie Hunt) In the meanwhile we’re watching Molly break poor old Tyrone’s heart as she leaves him.
