South Stormont ON – South Stormont’s best kept secret shopping opportunity was held at the Rothwell Osnabruck School on this past Saturday. Both the auditorium and gymnasium were packed with crafters and local businesses offering local products for sale. On a personal note, Coffey’s Coffee was there making pots of coffee and selling premium fresh roasted coffee to those attending who appreciate better quality coffee.
Besides great coffee, the products available for sale included quite a range of crafts, food products and art and even the occasional politician stopped by to shop. You can see Tammy Hart here enjoying the fresh brewed aroma around the Coffey’s Coffee booth.
I don’t have a comprehensive list of all the exhibitors but I did look over the products at several booths during times when my wife allowed me to walk-about. I visited Angela Youngs from Ground Soap, Penny Pinch from A Pinch Of Penny’s Kitchen, Laura Leroux from Laura’s Home Bakery, Patrick Guidon from The Mudroom, Tracy Davies & Linda Croxall from Mish-Mosh Studio, Thomas Cloutier from Cedar rock Woods Turning, Rita Shaver with Tole Painting and Al and Renate Wolf from Wolf Art & Crafts.
There were an abundant number of choices for Christmas decorations or gifts and products that you would enjoy all year round. If you missed it this year too bad, but it is the 4th Annual show so chances are pretty good that you will have an opportunity next year around this time.
