City of Cornwall Police Community Consultation Meetings – English: January 24th, 25th, & 31st – Francais le 25 Janvier

Cornwall ON – As you may have heard, the Cornwall Community Police Service Board is currently developing its Strategic and Business Plan for the next three years. This is a partnership activity between the Police Service and our community that will set the broad directions for the future of policing in Cornwall.
As part of our consultation process leading up to the completion of this plan, we are reaching out to an extensive section of community stakeholders for input in the development of this plan.  In order to facilitate this process, we offer the following formats in which your thoughts on policing issues, concerns and priorities in Cornwall can be shared with us.
Firstly, we would invite you to attend in person and participate in any of the upcoming neighbourhood consultation meetings.
Chief Dan Parkinson Talks about the Three Year Plan Process

During these meetings we will report on the results of our last plan, offer a brief overview on the challenges and the opportunities facing the future of policing in Cornwall.

An interactive discussion with community members will then follow in order for you to share your vision of the future of policing in Cornwall. For those who cannot attend in person we would like you to consider the alternative options, (mentioned later) in order to share your thoughts with us as well.

The basic strategic direction of the Cornwall Community Police Service remains consistent with the 2005–2007 and the 2008-2010 Business Plans.

Our Vision: A safer Cornwall, reducing crime always.

Notre Vision: Faire de Cornwall une ville plus sécuritaire en réduisant toujours le taux de crime.
