Cornwall ON – It’s that time of the year for the Mayor’s Spring Celebration of the Arts fund raiser for the Aultsville Theatre! The event takes place April 9th, 2011 at the Theatre starting at 7:00 PM.
Hosted by well-known musician Graham Greer, and featuring the music of the Brigadoons! The concert will also include performances by the Riverdale String Ensemble, the Powell School of Dance, Comedy sketch groups, Broadway singers, and a surprise performance by a number of community leaders.
The Arts Reception will feature displays and demonstrations by members of the Cornwall Regional Art Gallery, Focus Art, the Potters Guild, the Quilt of Belonging, Fishrizzo Productions, Dreambuilder Studios, and other independent artists and arts organizations.
The event will include a lobby performance by Chorus Novus, and reception entertainment by Roxanne Delage, Clarpian Duo, Jody Marsolais, the Roadhouse Dancers, David Jans magic, and more!
The centerpiece of the reception will be the Silent Auction, which will feature an amazing assortment of visual art, jewellery, pottery, home concerts, services and experiences unique to this area. Come and see what our community has to offer!
Tickets are on sale at Scotiabank and Seaway Tourism and are only $20 each with all proceeds going to refurbish the theatre!
