School Lock Down Suspect in Custody and Your Police Blotter for March 9, 2011 – Cornwall Ontario

Cornwall ON – An exciting and busy police blotter for Wednesday March 9, 2011.

SCHOOL LOCKDOWNS LEAD TO ARREST

Cornwall, Ont. – A 16 year-old Cornwall youth was arrested on March 9th, 2011 following a threats investigation.  It is alleged that the young person was possibly in possession of a weapon and was planning to attend the high school around lunch hour on that date.  Police were contacted and an investigation commenced.  As per the school’s protocol, a lockdown procedure was activated.  An investigation resulted in the apprehension of the young person. The young person is facing 1 count of Utter threats and 1 count of Breach of Probation for Failing to Keep the Peace and be of Good Behaviour.  He will be held in custody until court.  His name is withheld due to provisions under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

WARRANT

Cornwall, Ont. – Starr Louise Hill, 20, of Akwesasne turned herself into police on the 08th of March, 2011 on the strength of an outstanding warrant.  On the 17th of January, 2010 it is alleged that she entered Canada through the Cornwall point of entry.  A member of the Canada Border Services Agency requested that a secondary inspection be completed on the vehicle she was operating.  The female failed to comply to the request.  In doing so, the Canada Border Services Agency member further reported that the female operated her motor vehicle in a dangerous manner.  Police were contacted and an investigation resulted in the request for a warrant.  The female is facing 1 count of Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle and 1 count of Obstruct Police.  She was released to appear in court on the 29th of March, 2011 to answer to the charges.

 

 

WARRANT

Cornwall, Ont. – Chad Lloyd Primeau, 27, of Cornwall turned himself into police on the 08th of Mach, 2011 on the strength of an outstanding warrant.  On the 12th of May, 2008 it is alleged that the male failed to attend court and a bench warrant was issued.  He was held in custody until court later that day.

 

 

WARRANT

Cornwall, Ont. – Francis Kirk Kameka, 35, of Cornwall turned himself into police on the 08th of March, 2011 on the strength of an outstanding warrant.  It is alleged that on March 7th, 2011 he failed to attend court and a bench warrant was issued.  He was held in custody until court later that day.

 

 

BREACH OF PROBATION

Cornwall, Ont. – A 46 year-old Glen Walter male was arrested on the 08th of March, 2011 for breaching his conditions.  He was bound by a Probation Order with the following conditions:  no contact directly or indirectly with a specific female, not to be within 50 meters of her residence and to Keep the peace and be of Good Behaviour.  On January 11th, 19th and 20th, it is alleged that he attended within 50 meters of the female’s residence.  In late February, it is further alleged that he attended within the restricted perimeters of the female’s residence once again.  On March 6th, it is also alleged that he attempted contact with the female by telephone.  As a result of these investigations, the male was arrested for 7 counts of Breach of Probation.  He was held in custody until court.  His name is withheld as it may identify the victim in this incident.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

(South Stormont) – On 07Mar11, at approximately 7:30pm, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a domestic incident on Highway 138, South Stormont  Township.

The investigation revealed that a female and her 20yr old ex-boyfriend were involved in a verbal altercation that resulted in the male damaging the residence.

He was arrested and faces charges of:

  • Mischief – Domestic
  • Breach of Probation

He was held in custody pending an appearance in Cornwall court.

IMPAIRED DRIVING
(North Glengarry) – On 08Mar11, at approximately 11:30pm, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a vehicle in the ditch on Macmillan Road, North Glengarry Township.

The investigation revealed that the 24yr old male driver (Simon LLOYD of Victoria, Australia) was found to be operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol.

He was arrested and faces charges of:

  • Impaired Operation / Motor Vehicle
  • Exceed 80mgs / Motor Vehicle

He is scheduled to appear 17Apr11 in Cornwall court.

THREATS
(North Dundas) – On 08Mar11, at approximately 2:00pm, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a threatening on Francis St. Chesterville On.

The investigation revealed that a 46yr old male had made a threat to harm police.

The male was arrested and faces charges of:

  • Threaten – Justice System – Participant
  • Breach of Probation Order

He was held in custody pending an appearance in Cornwall court.
