Cornwall ON – Progressive Conservative candidate for the riding of SD&SG in the October provincial election, Jim McDonell opened his campaign office with fanfare and free food Monday June 13, 2011. Joined by MP Guy Lauzon and a multitude of local Conservatives Mr. McDonell granted us a one on one video interview.

Mr. McDonell’s campaign manager is Eric Duncan who besides being a mayor himself also is MP Lauzon’s executive assistant and was Mr. Lauzon’s campaign manager during the May election that saw Mr. Lauzon return to office with over 60% of the vote.
Mr. McDonell is using the office used by MP Lauzon hoping some of his magic wears off on him. It’s at the corner of 9th and Pitt in Cornwall Ontario.
