an incredible value for everybody, including agricultural displays, a thrilling midway, exciting shows, children’s entertainment, live music and much more!

As with every agricultural fair in Ontario, the rich history of the Chesterville Fair is built on agricultural shows and homecraft competitions.  This year’s fair will live up to the tradition, featuring our second annual Youth Beef Show, a new Youth Gymkhana Horse Show, the return of the popular goat show, and, of course, a full petting zoo with pony rides.  Fair-goers can also peruse the Exhibition Hall to view the homecraft displays, with entries submitted from across Eastern Ontario.

Feature attractions at this year’s fair include something for everybody to enjoy.  Two-time Juno awared-winner, Valdy (July 24th), as well as Ambush (July 22nd) and Landmark (July 23rd) will all put on concerts in the Refreshment Tent over the course of the weekend.  Man the Daredevil (formerly the Imperial Stunt Show) will put on a wild show in front of the grandstands on Friday, July 22nd, and local participants will have a chance to put on their own show in the 5th Annual Chesterville Fair Demolition Derby on Saturday, July 23rd.  Other shows happening over the weekend include Kickboxing & SportMMA Demonstrations, Tractor and Lawn Tractor Pulls, a baseball tournament and even a pie eating contest, sponsored by McCain Foods.

The 80th Chesterville Fair will not lack fun for kids, either.  The Kidz Zone Tent will be filled with activities, games and shows from Dr. Kaboom’s Mini Mobile Circus.  In addition, they can visit with friends (Dora the Explorer, Spider Man, Bob the Builder) and enjoy a healthy snacks.  Even the youngest kids can participate in the fair’s annual baby show.  Of course, Conklin Shows will return to the Chesterville Fair with a thrilling midway for people of all ages to enjoy.
