OBSTRUCT POLICE, ROBBERY, PERSONATION & BREACHES
Cornwall, ON- Heidi Shaw, 29 of Ottawa was arrested on the 18th of October, 2011. She was bound by a Probation Order with the conditions to keep the peace and be of good behaviour and to notify the court or probation office in advance of any change of name or address. She was also bound by a Recognizance with the relevant conditions to keep the peace and be of good behaviour, to reside at an Ottawa address or residential treatment facility, not to be away from your residence between the hours of 11pm and 6am except with staff permission while in residential treatment. It is alleged that on the 18th of October, 2011 she approached a 26 year-old male stranger and demanded money while uttering a threat. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. She was located and provided a false name to police. Subsequently to her arrest, she was found to be in the possession of stolen property. She was charged with attempt robbery, obstruct police, personation and possession of stolen property, 2 counts of breach of probation order and 3 counts of breach of recognizance. She was held in custody until court later that day.
WARRANT
Cornwall, ON- Joshua Ceasor, 25 of Cornwall was arrested on the 18th of October, 2011 under the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged that on the 6th of October, 2011 his surety was revoked. He turned himself into custody and was held for court until later that day.
DOMESTIC BREACHES
Cornwall, ON- A 30 year-old St. Andrews West man was arrested on the 18th of October, 2011. He was bound by a Recognizance with the relevant condition not to associate or communicate directly or indirectly with his 31 year-old ex-girlfriend. It is alleged that between the 7th of October, 2011 and the 12th of October, 2011 he phoned his ex-girlfriend. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. He was charged with breach of recognizance and held in custody until court later that day. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in this incident.
DRUGS & BREACHES
Cornwall, ON- Chantal Dionne, 44 of Cornwall was arrested on 18th of October, 2011. She was bound by Recognizance with the relevant conditions to not attend a certain address except in the presence of a police officer or for your belongings and to abstain from the possession or consumption of any drug listed in the Schedules of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act or being found in the company of anyone known to you to use or deal in substances unless while in a treatment program or prescribed by a medical doctor for you. It is alleged that on the 18th of October, 2011 she was observed by members of the Cornwall Community Police Services to attend the said residence. She was subsequently found to be in possession of drugs. She was charged with 2 counts of breach of recognizance and possession of a controlled substance. She was held in custody until court the following day.
DOMESTIC ASSAULT
Cornwall, ON- A 17 year-old Cornwall youth was arrested on the 18th of October, 2011. It is alleged that on the 18th of October, 2011 she got into an altercation with her 18 year-old boyfriend when she assaulted him. It was also alleged that she assaulted her boyfriends 40 year-old mother. The victims were not injured. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. She was charged with 2 counts of assault and released to appear in court on the 3rd of November, 2011. Her name was not released as it would identify the victims in this incident and as per provision of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

Cornwall, ON- A 28 year-old Cornwall man was arrested on the 18th of October, 2011. He was bound by a recognizance with the conditions to not to associate or communicate directly or indirectly with his 20 year-old girlfriend and not to attend within 100 meters of her residence. It is alleged that on the 18th of October, 2011 he had contact with her and attended her residence. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. He was charged with 2 counts of breach of recognizance and held in custody until court the following day. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in this incident.
BREAK & ENTER
Cornwall, ON- The Cornwall Community Police Service is investigating a break and enter which occurred on the 18th of October, 2011 at a Dieppe Street residence. The suspect(s) gained entry by an unlocked window and proceeded to removed an Acer Laptop, purse, personal documents and money. Cornwall, ON- The Cornwall Community Police Service is investigating a break and enter which occurred between the 18th of October, 2011 and the 19th of October, 2011 at a Seventh Street residence. The suspect(s) gained entry by forcing open a door and proceeded to removed a black 50″ Samsung plasma screen TV, a black PS3 console game, a red comforter with gold embroidery and several meat steaks. Cornwall, ON- An 18 year-old Cornwall man was arrested on the 17th of October, 2011. He was bound by a Recognizance with the condition not to associate or communicate directly or indirectly with his 18 year-old ex-girlfriend. It is alleged that between the 8th of October, 2011 and the 15th of October, 2011 he communicated with her numerous times by text messages. He was charged with breach of recognizance and held in custody until court the following day.
Cornwall, ON- Guylaine McKenzie, 47 of Cornwall was arrested on the 18th of October, 2011. She was bound by a Conditional Sentence Order with the conditions to abstain from the purchase/possession/
BREAK & ENTER
Cornwall, ON- The Cornwall Community Police Service is investigating a break and enter which occurred on the 17th of October, 2011 at a Brookdale Avenue residence. The suspect(s) gained entry by an unlocked door and proceeded to removed a black deposit box containing an undisclosed amount of money and personal documents. Cornwall, ON- The Cornwall Community Police Service is investigating a break and enter which occurred on the 18th of October, 2011 at a Vincent Massey Drive business. The suspect(s) gained entry by making a hole in a cinder block wall and proceeded to enter the building. No property was removed.
