CFN – Smart City Toastermasters Club-Cornwall, decided to do a potluck Christmas dinner this year, held at Claudette Pilon and partner Gilles Routhier’s home.

It made the celebration more personal. A special thank you to Gilles & Claudette from all of us toastmasters who attended that evening’s festive event, it was a success and momentous. The fun, the table topics and the wonderful speeches made the meeting that much more joyful. For those who want a sourse of enjoyment, we will resume January 4, 2012.
We meet 1st & 3rd Wednesdays -@ St. Lawrence Intermediate School- 2nd st. E. in the library.

Meetings begin at 6:45 p.m. Due to the Christmas closure of the school tonight’s meeting will take place at 600 Guy Street.
I was unaware Cornwall had Toast Masters club, it’s great news. I use to belong to a club out Toronto way. It is a pretty good organization!!

Right you are, Jamie. Smart City Toastmasters meet on the 1st & 3rd Wednesdays of each month starting at 6:45 p.m. at St. Lawrence Intermediate School library http://smartcity.freetoasthost.biz . Seaway Toastmasters meet on the 2nd & 4th Tuesdays each month starting at 7 p.m. at the Armoury: http://seawaytoastmasters.com . The clubs are very different, so be sure to visit both. The Smart City club includes some residents of Akwesasne. For those on the U.S. side of the border there is also the Akwesasne Toastmasters which meet on the 2nd & 4th Wednesdays at 5:30 p.m. in the Casino H.R. building http://www.akwesasnetoastmasters.com .
