DOMESTIC ASSAULT, CHOKING, THREATS & CRIMINAL HARASSMENT
Cornwall, ON- A 39 year-old Cornwall man was arrested on the 13th of January, 2012. It is alleged that on the 18th of November, 2011 he got into an altercation with his 38 year-old ex-girlfriend when he assaulted her, chocked her and uttered threats to harm her. The victim suffered minor injuries. It is also alleged that he continuously contacted her. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. He was charged with assault, overcoming resistance, 2 counts of utter threats and criminal harassment. He was held in custody until court later that day. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in this incident.

Cornwall, ON- Shaun Stephens, 20 of Dunsford was arrested in the early hours of January the 14th , 2012. It is alleged that that he was operating a motor vehicle on Seventh Street while under the influence of alcohol. The male was arrested and transported fir further testing which resulted in a charge of Over .80.. He was released to appear in court on the 7th of February, 2012 to answer to the charge.
BREAK & ENTER
Cornwall, ON- The Cornwall Community Police Service is currently investigating a break and enter that occurred between the 13th of January, 2012 and the 14th of January, 2012 at a Brookdale Avenue residence. The suspect(s) gained entry by prying a door and proceeded to remove a soapstone carving, several watches, sterling silver cigarette case, 14K gold pen & pencil set, 10K gold fountain pen and an undisclosed amount of US currency. ASSAULT & OBSTRUCT POLICE
Cornwall, ON- A 34 year-old Cornwall man was arrested on the 14th of January, 2012. It is alleged that on the 14th of January, 2012 he got into an altercation with his 33 year-old brother when he assaulted him. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. During the course of the investigation, the male intentionally impeded the investigation and was subsequently charged with obstruct police and assault. He was released to appear in court on the 7th of February, 2012 to answer to the charges. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in this incident.
FRAUD & PERSONATION
Cornwall, ON- Hong-Tao Huang, 34 and Tony Lam, 35 both of Cornwall were arrested on the 14th of January, 2012. It is alleged that on the 4th of January, 2012 they attended a McConnell Aveune medial site and obtained treatment. They provided a false name and identification. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. They were charged with fraud and personation. They were released to appear in court on the 14th of February, 2012 to answer to the charges.
DOMESTIC ASSAULT
Cornwall, ON- A 26 year-old Cardinal man was arrested on the 15th of January, 2012. It is alleged that on the 15th of January, 2012 he got into an altercation with his 19 year-old ex-girlfriend when he assaulted her. The victim suffered minor injuries. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. He was charged with domestic assault and released to appear in court on the 14th of February, 2012. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in this incident.
