CFN – Joan Levy-Earle (Mann) was at the public library this afternoon, concerning her newest book The Road Home. It’s about her faith journey and weaves in stories of many local figures. She’s still an artist (painter), has taught dance, operated The Sanctuary, etc. Her name is well-known in the area. The next book (under development) will focus on Kytes (the store at that land mark before she purchased it).
Although she re-marrried after Jack’s death and is living in Toronto, she returns “home” to Cornwall monthly to visit her mom and the grand kids
Dear Joan, I had the pleasure off meeting May 26, 1985, at Civic Centre in Cornwall, Ontario. I also have the little booklet (Prayers for Peace) which I used many times. I am a member off the Military Ordinariate CWL and I believe my husband who was Military and stationed in Kingston or Ottawa, Ontario. I had ordered copies off (Circle of Love) but you had none left. I was recently on the computer and see you released a new book in early 2012. I am going to go to our book stores here in Edmonton, Alberta, and hope to be able to purchase one. I,m still with the Military CWL andhave been for 32 years.Take care and God be with you as you touch peoples Lives. Margaret Barter.
