DOMESTIC BREACH

 

            Cornwall, ON- A 25 year-old Cornwall female was arrested on the 2^nd of February, 2012. She was bound by a probation order with the relevant conditions of no contact (in)directly with her 34 year-old ex-boyfriend and keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is alleged that on the 2^nd of February, 2012 she was observed to be with her 34 ex-boyfriend by a member of the Cornwall Community Police Service Patrol Division. She was charged with breach of probation order and released to appear in court on the 6^th of March, 2012. Her name was not released as it would identify the male in this incident.

 

DRUG SEARCH WARRANTS

 

            Cornwall, ON- Members of the Cornwall Community Police Service Street Crime Unit assisted by members of the Ontario Provincial Police have conducted several drug related investigations including executing 2 drug search warrants between the 10^th of January, 2012 and the 2^nd of February, 2012. As a result of the investigations, 8 people were arrested and charged with drug and criminal code related charges when they were allegedly found to be in possession of controlled substances. Police seized a quantity of substances believed to by cocaine, hydromorphone, marijuana, oxycodone, psilocybin and methamphetamine.  The total value of seized drugs and property is estimated at $12,000.00.

 

Jacqueline Lapierre, 46 of Cornwall was bound by a probation order with the condition of to abstain from the purchase, possession or consumption of drugs and to keep the peace and be of good behaviour.  It is alleged that on the 12^th of January as a result of an investigation, she was charged with 3 counts of trafficking controlled substances, 4 counts of breach of probation order and 2 counts of possession of property obtained by crime. She was held in custody until court the following day.

 

Nancy Leach, 47 of Cornwall was arrested on the 20^th of January, 2012. It is alleged that she was found to be in the possession of controlled substances. She was charged with possession for the purpose, possession of a controlled substance and possession of property obtained by crime. She was released to appear in court on the 14^th of February, 2012.

 

William Vaughan Rogers, 62 of Cornwall was arrested on the 20^th of January, 2012. It is alleged that he was found to be in the possession of controlled substances. He was charged with possession for the purpose, possession of a controlled substance and possession of property obtained by crime. He was released to appear in court on the 14^th of February, 2012.

 

Jason Tyrell, 32 of Cornwall was bound by a probation order with the following conditions of keep the peace and be of good behaviour and to abstain from the possession of drugs except in accordance with a medical prescription. It is alleged that on the 20^th of January, 2012 he was found to be possession of controlled substance. He was charged with 2 counts of breach of probation order and possession of a controlled substance. He was released to appear in court on the 7^th of February, 2012.

Joshua Montgomery, 20 of Cornwall was arrested on the 26^th of January, 2012. It is alleged that as a result of an investigation, he was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking, 2 counts of possession of property obtained by crime and 2 counts of trafficking  controlled substances. He was released to appear in court on the 21^st of February, 2012.

Joel Bruyere, 21 of Cornwall was bound by a recognizance of bail with the following relevant conditions of not to consume or possess non prescription drugs and no cell phone or pagers. It is alleged that on the 2^nd of February, 2012 he was found to be in possession of controlled substances and a cell phone. He was charged with 5 counts of possession of a controlled substance, 5 counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking,  2 counts of possession of property obtained by crime and 2 counts of breach of recognizance. He was also found to be in the possession of a stolen laptop. He was held in custody until court the following day.

Denis Bruyere, 48 of Cornwall was arrested on the 2^nd of February, 2012. It is alleged that the 2^nd of February, 2012 he was found to be in the possession of a controlled substance. He was charged with possession of a controlled substance and released to appear in court on the 6^th of March, 2012.

BREACHES

            Cornwall, ON- Daniel Quigley, 25 of Cornwall was arrested on the 2^nd of February, 2012. He was bound by a probation order with relevant conditions of obey curfew, be in your residence at all times unless permission is obtained in writing from the probation officer or designate and except for three hours prior and three hours after employment, no contact directly or indirectly with a certain person and keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is alleged that on the 2^nd of February, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. he was observed to be away from his residence and with the said person. He was charged with 3 counts of breach of probation order and released to appear in court on the 6^th of March, 2012.

THEFT & BREACH

            Cornwall, ON- Michael Donegan, 28 of Cornwall was arrested on the 2^nd of February, 2012. He was bound by a probation order with the condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is alleged that on the 2^nd of February, 2012 he attended a Ninth Street store and removed merchandise without making any attempt to pay for the items. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. He was charged with theft under $5000.00 and breach of probation order. He was released to appear in court on the 6^th of March, 2012.

ATTEMPT THEFT

            Cornwall, ON- The Cornwall Community Police is currently investigating an attempt theft that occurred on the 2^nd of February, 2012 shorty after 7:00 a.m. at a Brookdale Avenue facility.
