WARRANT
Cornwall, ON- Eric Brodeau, 35 of Gatineau, Quebec, was arrested on the 6th of February, 2012 on the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged that between the 20th of September, 2005 and the 26th of October, 2005 he fraudulently cashed cheques. A warrant was sought. He was charged with 4 counts of uttering forged documents and 4 counts of fraud under $5000.00. He was held in custody until court later that day.
Cornwall, ON- Jamie Lee Campeau, 20 of Cornwall was arrested on the 6th of February, 2012 on the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged that on the 12th of January, 2012 he failed to attend court and an warrant was sought. He was located and an held in custody until court the following day.
THEFT
Cornwall, ON- Lise Dufresne, 45 of Cornwall was arrested on the 6th of February, 2012. It is alleged that on the 27th of January, 2012 she attended a Pitt Street store and removed property without making any attempt to pay for the merchandise. It is also alleged that on the 3rd of February, 2012 she attended a Water street store and removed property without making any attempt to pay for the merchandise. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. She was charged with 2 counts of theft under $5000.00. She was released to appear in court on the 27th of March, 2012.
BREACHES
Cornwall, ON- A 27 year-old Cornwall man was arrested on the 6th of February, 2012. He was bound by a probation order with the relevant condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. He was also bound by a recognizance with the condition not to be away from my residence except as follows: with your surety, to attend school, to attend counseling or to attend the PARS Program, the surety is to drive you from and to these programs. It is alleged that on the 6th of February, 2012 he was observed to be away from his residence without surety. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. He was charged with breach of probation order and breach of recognizance. He was held in custody until court the following day.
WARRANT & BREACH
Cornwall, ON- Peter Thomas, 24 of Cornwall was arrested on the 7th of February, 2012 under the strength of outstanding warrants. It is alleged that on the 19th of January 2012 for failing to attend Court. The second being a bench warrant, dated 17Jan12, for all outstanding charges. He was also bound by 3 undertakings with the conditions of to notify CCPS of change in address within 24 hours, and keep the peace and be of good behaviour, abstain from the consumption of alcohol. It is alleged that on the 7th of February 2012, he was observed by a member of the Cornwall Community Police Service Patrol Division to be under the influence of alcohol. He was charged with 7 counts of breach of undertaking and held in custody until court the following day.
BREAK & ENTER
Cornwall, ON- The Cornwall Community Police Service is currently investigating a break and enter that occurred on the 6th of February¸ 2012 at a Churchill Street residence. It is alleged that the suspect(s) gained entry by prying open a window and proceeded to remove an undisclosed amount of Canadian currency.
