Cornwall Seaway Valley Growers’ Market Report for 7 July 2012 by Don Smith

CFN – It was a busy morning for the nine growers and bakers of the Cornwall Seaway Valley Growers’ Market located in the parking lot of the Brick on Pitt Street in Cornwall. The selection of farm and bakery fresh items continues to increase weekly, so much so that as of this week the market will open two days per week.

Avonmore Berry Farms – vegetables, berries, baked goods, jams
Brenda’s Vegetables – Lunenburg
Ingleside Tomatoes – the name says it all

Lalonde Gardens – Apple Hill
Marc Brunet – vegetables & honey from Green Valley
Linda’s Garden Goodies – jams and more
Swiss Farmer Bakery – Moose Creek
The Health Nut – baked goods – some gluten-free

The market is open on Saturdays and Wednesdays from 7 a.m. until 12 Noon.

  1. Oh Yeah, well my market is better than your market! You don’t have great coffee.

  2. Warning: The baked goods are just too good! Very addictive.

  3. Ontario produce – fantastic. Our household will not buy Quebec produce.

  4. Wendy: Is it because you don’t know what the produce is because of French names?

  5. We spend our money in Canada, not that other so-called “nation”.
