Cornwall Man Touching Grand Daughter? Your Police Blotter for Friday October 5, 2012

BREACHES

 

            Cornwall, ON- A 15-year-old Cornwall youth was arrested on October 4th, 2012. The youth was bound by Undertakings with the relevant condition to keep the peace & be of good behaviour and to attend school every day without truancy in session. It is alleged that on October 4th, 2012 the youth skipped class. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. The youth was charged with 2 counts of Fail to Comply with Undertaking and held in custody until court the following day. The youth’s name was not released as per provision under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

Cornwall, ON- Christopher Wilson, 23 of Cornwall was arrested on October 4th, 2012. He was bound by an Undertaking with the conditions to notify OPP of any change of address and abstain from the consumption of alcohol or other intoxicating substances. It is alleged that on October 4th, 2012 a member of the Cornwall Community Police Service Patrol Division found him under the influence of alcohol. Further investigation revealed that the male also failed to notify OPP of a change of address. He was charged with 2 counts of Fail to Comply with Undertaking and held in custody until court the following day.

SEXUAL ASSAULT & SEXUAL INTERFERENCE

 

            Cornwall, ON- A 56-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on October 4th, 2012. It is alleged that on or about August 31st, 2012 he inappropriately touched his 5-year-old grand-daughter. The victim did not require medical treatment. Police were contacted and an investigation followed by the Cornwall Community Police Service Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Unit. The male was charged with Sexual Assault & Sexual Interference. He was released to appear in court on October 25th, 2012. His name was not released as it would identify the victim.

 

ROBBERY, POSSESSION OF WEAPON DANGEROUS, POINT FIREARM, BREAK & ENTER

 

            Cornwall, ON- Bradley Mondoux, 19 of Cornwall was arrested on October 4th, 2012. It is alleged that on October 4th, 2012 he attended a 19-year-old acquaintance’s residence, kicked in the door and demanded money while pointing a hand gun. He did not obtain any money and fled the area. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. He turned himself in and was charged with Robbery with a Firearm, Use of Firearm while committing an offence, Possession of Weapons for a Dangerous Purpose, Break & Enter and Pointing a Firearm. He was held in custody until court the following day.

FRAUD OVER & BREACH OF TRUST, UTTER FORGED DOCUMENTS & THEFT BY CONVERSION

 

            Cornwall, ON- Gilles Saucier, 51 of Cornwall was arrested on October 4th, 2012, when he turned himself in to police. He was charged with 11 counts of Fraud Over $5000, 11 counts of Breach of Trust, 3 counts of Uttering Forged Documents and 9 counts of Theft by Conversion. An investigation was started by the Cornwall Community Police Service’s Criminal Investigation Division following a complaint on October 16th, 2011. It is alleged that the incidents took place between July 2009 and November 2011 and several victims were identified. He was released to appear in court on November 22nd, 2012.

  1. its a sad day when you can not even trust your own father to watch you children. it sickens me to think of what that little girl went through. i only can hope this monster gets what he deserves. to me jail time isnt enough, but i dont even know if he will even get that conidering how mess up the justice system is. how sad is it that someone who smuggles cigarettes gets more time then someone who killed two people by driving into them while they waited for a bus. lets hope for the little girls sake, and for the sake of all the others who werent able to come forward like this brave little girl, that he gets time, and lots of it.
