Cornwall, ON- Kayla Square, 24 of Cornwall was arrested on November 2nd, 2012 under the strength of an outstanding warrant of Committal. It is alleged that a warrant was submitted on September 5th, 2012 for driving while suspended. She was held in custody until court later that day.
ASSAULT WITH WEAPON & MISCHIEF
Cornwall, ON- A 16-year-old Cornwall youth was arrested on November 2nd, 2012. The youth was bound by two Youth Criminal Justice Act Probation Orders with the conditions of keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is alleged that on November 2nd, 2012 the youth got into an altercation with her 43-year-old mother when she threw items at her and damaged property. The victim was not injured. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. The youth was charged with Assault with weapon, Mischief under $5000 and Breach of Probation Order. The youth was released to appear in court on December 13th, 2012. The youth’s name was not released as per provision under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
DRUGS & BREACH
Cornwall, ON- Christopher Campbell-Dennison, 21 of Cornwall was arrested on November 2nd, 2012. He was bound by a Probation Order with the condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is alleged that he was found by a member of the Cornwall Community Police Service to be in possession of a controlled substance believed to be marijuana. He was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Breach of Probation Order. He was released to appear in court on December 4th, 2012.
BREACH & DRIVE DISQUALIFIED
Cornwall, ON- Robert Lefebvre, 47 of Cornwall was arrested on November 2nd, 2012. He was bound by a Conditional Sentence Order with the conditions of keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is alleged that on November 2nd, 2012, he was operating a motor vehicle while being disqualified. He was charged with Breach of Conditional Sentence Order and Drive Disqualified. He was held in custody until court the following day.
BREAK & ENTER ARREST
Cornwall, ON- Jason Danis, 24 of Cornwall was arrested on November 3rd, 2012. He was bound by an Undertaking with the condition of keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is alleged that on November 3rd, 2012 he was found committing a Break & Enter by members of the Cornwall Community Police Service. It is further alleged that, between September 28th, 2012 and November 3rd, 2012, he unlawfully entered several other residences and removed property. He was charged with 5 counts of Break & Enter, Possession of Break In Instruments and 2 counts of Fail to Comply with Undertaking. He was held in custody until court November 5th, 2012.
ASSAULT & THREATS
Cornwall, ON- A 15-year-old Cornwall youth was arrested on November 4th, 2012. The youth was bound by a Recognizance with the relevant conditions to reside at a group home and follow house rules of the residence. It is alleged that on November 4th, 2012 the youth got into an altercation with group home staff when he assaulted a 33-year-old staff member and threatened another 33-year-old staff member. The victim did not require medical treatment. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. The youth was charged with Assault, Utter Death Threats and Fail to Comply with Recognizance. The youth was held in custody until court the following day. The youth’s name was not released as per provision under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

THREATS
(South Stormont) – On 03Nov12, at approximately 1:00am, Stormont Dundas and Glengarry Ontario Provincial Police (SD&G OPP) officers responded to a report of a threats call on Otto Road, South Stormont Township.
The investigation revealed that a 20yr old male (Benjamin PYPER of North Dundas) attended the address on Otto Road where he threatened the residents and damaged their property.
The male was located and arrested by SD&G OPP a short time later and faces charges of:
- Utter Threat to Cause Death or Bodily Harm x 3
- Mischief Under $5000
- Unlawfully in a dwelling
The male is to appear in Cornwall Criminal Court December 4, 2012.
DOMESTIC INCIDENT
(South Stormont) – On 03Nov12, at approximately 10:00am, Stormont Dundas and Glengarry Ontario Provincial Police (SD&G OPP) received a report of a domestic incident on Dixon Road, South Stormont Township.
The investigation revealed that approximately ten years ago, the 38yr old female had assaulted her 42yr old ex-husband.
The female was arrested and faces charges of:
- Assault with a weapon x 2
She is scheduled to appear in Cornwall Criminal Court November 20, 2012.
IMPAIRED
(North Stormont) – On 04Nov12, at approximately 01:26am, Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry Ontario Provincial Police (SD&G OPP) officers conducted a traffic stop on Highway 417, North Stormont Township. The officer stopped a Chevrolet Silverado pick up truck for travelling at a high rate of speed.
The stop revealed that the 25yr old male driver (Andre GAUCHER of Lancaster) was operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol. He was arrested and faces charges of:
– Impaired Operation / Motor Vehicle / Alcohol
– Exceed 80 Milligrams Blood Alcohol Content / Motor Vehicle
He is scheduled to appear in Cornwall Criminal Court November 13, 2012.
IMPAIRED
(South Stormont) – On 04Nov12, at approximately 01:36am, Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry Ontario Provincial Police (SD&G OPP) officers conducted a traffic stop on Highway 401, South Stormont Township.
The stop revealed that the 18yr old male driver (Darron WITTEVEEN of North Stormont) was operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol. He was arrested and faces charges of:
– Impaired Operation / Motor Vehicle / Alcohol
– Exceed 80 Milligrams Blood Alcohol Content / Motor Vehicle
He is scheduled to appear in Cornwall Criminal Court November 13, 2012.
