COMMITTAL WARRANT
Cornwall, ON- Andrew Gates, 20 of Cornwall was arrested on November 29th, 2012 under the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged that on November 23rd, 2012 his surety was revoked. He turned himself in to police and was held in custody until court November 29th, 2012.
WARRANT
Cornwall, ON- An 18-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on November 29th, 2012 under the strength of an outstanding Probation Order warrant. It is alleged that he was failing to abide by his community supervision order. He turned himself in to police and was held in custody until court later that day. His name was not released as per provision under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
Cornwall, On- Michael Grant, 23 of Monkland was arrested on November 30th, 2012 under the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged that on June 28th, 2012 he caused damaged to a 22-year-old male acquaintances motor vehicle. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. He was located and released to appear in court on December 20th, 2012.
CAUSE DISTURBANCE, ASSAULT POLICE & MISCHIEF
Cornwall, ON- Jeffrey Bergeron, 37 of Cornwall was arrested on November 29th, 2012. It is alleged that on November 29th, 2012 he was causing a disturbance by yelling and shouting. He resisted arrested, assaulted a police officer and caused damaged to a police cruiser. The Police Officer did not require medical treatment. He was charged with Cause a Disturbance, Resist Arrest, Assault Police Officer and Mischief under $5000. He was released to appear in court January 8th, 2013.
DRUGS & POSSESSION FOR THE PURPOSE
Cornwall, ON- Kayla Clute, 22 of Hoganburg, New York was arrested on December 1st, 2012. It is alleged that on December 1st, 2012 she was found by a member of the Cornwall Community Police Service Community Patrol Division to be in possession of a controlled substance believed to be hydromorphone. She was charged with Possession of a controlled substance and Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking. Approximately $1900 of hydromorphone was seized. She was released to appear in court on January 8th, 2013.
DOMESTIC BREACH
Cornwall, ON- A 40-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on December 1st, 2012. He was bound by Probation Order with the conditions to keep the peace and be of good behaviour and not be within 50 meters of his 39-year-old ex-wife. It is alleged that on November 30th, 2012 he was found to be within the 50 meters radius. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. He was charged with 2 counts of Breach of Probation Order. He was released to appear in court on January 15th, 2012. His name was not released as it would identify the victim.
BREAK & ENTER ARREST
Cornwall, ON- Krista Arial, 20 and Taylor Maxam, 20 both of Cornwall were arrested on December 1st, 2012. It is alleged that on November 17th, 2012 they entered a Ninth Street residence and removed property. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. They were both charged with Break & Enter and released to appear in court at later dates.
DOMESTIC ASSAULT, FORCIABLE CONFINEMENT & BREACHES
Cornwall, ON- A 43-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on December 2nd, 2012. He was bound by a Probation Order with the conditions to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is alleged that on December 1st, 2012 he got into an altercation with his 46-year-old ex-wife when he assaulted her and prevented her from leaving the residence. The victim did not require medical treatment. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. He was charged with Domestic Assault, Forcible Confinement and Breach of Probation Order. He was held in custody until court December 3rd, 2012.
