Supreme Court of Canada will NOT hear Galganov / Brisson Forced Bilingual Sign Appeal – Breaking

CFN – Human rights champion Howard Galganov reports that today he received the much-anticipated e-mail concerning his petition made to the Supreme Court. The court of last resort was being asked to overturn a decision made by a Superior Court judge that allows muncipalities to over-ride the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms.
Previously an Ontario Superior Court judge ruled that Russell Township violated the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, but that doing so was acceptable. By a very slim majoriy, the township passed a bylaw which demands that all new exterior commercial signage be in English and French, not one or the other and no provision for other languages. Russell was the fourth Eastern Ontario township to do so.
Today the Township of Russell posted the following Press Statement on their website:
“In light of the decision of the Supreme Court of Canada in regards to the leave of appeal from Galganov / Brisson versus Russell in the matter related to the Bilingual Sign Bylaw, we are extremely pleased that the plaintiffs were denied the hearing” said Mr. Jean Paul St-Pierre, Mayor for the Township of Russell. “It finally brings closure to the legal proceedings that were, in all instances, decided in favor of the Municipality by the court. The Court reiterates the fact that the Township was in its legal rights to adopt such bylaw and that Mr. Howard Galganov, a non-resident of the municipality, was in no position to contest the bylaw. We now can move forward for the benefit of our communities” concluded Mayor St.Pierre.”
How ironic that some Franco businesses and municipal agencies choose not to adhere to the bylaw. The municipal Fire Hall in Embrun boasts a unilingual sign which reads: “Poste de Pompiers”.

And, as we reported recently, the Francophone cultural/entertainment centre recently replaced its sign with a high tech version, but still in French only. An employee of La Maison des Arts told us that they were zoned differently (institutional/non-profit), then said that it’s because they provide French education. Apparently the centre previously had posted a small sign which explained that rationale. A member of the local community informed us that La Maison des Arts provides day care service for the French Catholic School across the street; would one not think that to be considered a business venture?
Pierre Leroux ran for and became a Russell Councillor two years ago; he told CFN that it’s widely known that one of his motivating forces in running for Council was the fact that he didn’t feel it right the way that bilingualism was forced upon local businesses. As for today’s Supreme Court announcement, as a member of Council he’s happy that the Township will not have to pay for an expensive legal battle (which he feels could have been avoided), but as a person he feels that the decision is wrong.

So, what about everyone else? People are asking ‘What’s the problem with being fair and allowing everyone a similar degree of freedom of expression?’ That’s a great question!
In our short clip, viewers can plainly see that the animated sign is unilingual and hear for themselves the explanation we received from a staff member of the arts centre.
Galganov was among the presenters at the recent annual Christmas Luncheon hosted by Canadians for Language Fairness at an Ottawa area restaurant. At the gathering, Galganov told the crowd:
“If the Supreme Court decides that they’re not going to hear the case, then it becomes the law of Canada. Any municipality can legislate, not just on issues of language and culture, but on any of the guarantees in the Charter of Rights and Freedoms. The Charter is essentially a Charter of Suggestions. Any time a judge or group of judges of one mindset or the other can decide what is to be protected and what is not to be protected it means we have no guarantees. Freedom of Expression is the foremost guarantee we have in any free society.”
In our highlight video clip (unedited footage provided by Danno Saunt) each of the key presenters at the CLF Luncheon (Beth Trudeau, Howard Galganov, Nick Vandergragt, Brian Lilley, Ron Barr and Jack MacLaren) shares an update on their involvement in the ongoing struggle to preserve basic human rights here in Canada.
It is anticipated that Galganov as well as Language Fairness for All and Canadians for Language Fairness will step up their efforts locally and nationally.

Don Smith reports on a variety of topics, notably good news items as well as social justice issues.

Ha,Ha!
Ken, you you worry for nothing.
When we, the francophone, have taken over Canada,
We’ll have a few translaters for you.
No problemo amigo.

tap tap, your post on December 22, 2012 at 6:52 was great. I especially liked this line.

I encourage you to check out a few video`s on my YouTube page. Maybe start with this one (have a feeling you`ll like what Danny Williams has to say) and PLEASE leave me a message.

Don’t you read the papers?
Citizen yesterday: French tests ar not easier.
But you don’t care do you. You’ll just say anything that favors your argument and hope some ignorant reader will believe you.
That’s why the francophone must step up to the plate.
Speaking of Canadian flags. Liberals under Trudeau, Chretien and Martin made British symbols and Canadian flags disappear from the public view. Federal public service, highjacked by francophones, made public servants feel ashamed of their country flag. Franco zealots acted as if Quebec flag was the only legitimate symbol of Canada. That was despicable. The only day you could see Canadian flags was on July 1.
With the Conservatives taking power in 2006, the situation with Canadian flags and British symbols improved. However, you still would not find even one Canadian flag in the Department of Justice, of all the places.
@ Robertson
I don’t konw if you’re anglo or franco but, so far, you are a voice of reason…
Chapeau!
@ Paul
Anglo zealots may try till the cows come home… It ain’t gonna happen!

I think we have another smart ass on the block – P.J. Robertson.
My guess from the writing style is another Francophone in disguise.
Ignore him along with Pierre, Stella and Ed.
They will only waste your digital ink.
@edudyorlik
I have seen your video , great job. |I have sent it to many, many people to get the word out.
If I were Harper, I would be concerned about groups like us evolving.
We have yet to begin to push back. This only the pre-game warmup.
I try not to comment directly to pierre and stella, they are not worth commenting on.
They bankrupt of facts and almost instinctively revert to name calling, and other typical behaviour of people who have no clue as to the tide that is about to hit them
This will make the plains of abraham look like a minor scuffle
I prefer to channel my energy to the cause of a nine province Canada
@ Edudyorlik, Ken, highlander Rosie, Helga et. al.
Do you notice, that when any one of us posts, and hits a nerve, that one of the fraud squad responds.
Usually, their response is devoid of any meaningful retort.
But what I find encouraging, is that I smell the scent of fear in them. They never have any facts to support what they claim.
Their rants, apart from being insulting, are embedded in anger and malice.
Anyway keep up the posts and continue to pass the word to everyone from coast to coast some 27 million strong, plus 99% of the multicultural community are in our corner as well.
Apparently they are not welcome in quebec either, remember the demeaning term “reasonable accomadation”.
One day, in the very near future, Official Bilingualism will fall just as suddenly and unpredictably as Berlin Wall fell. It is ridiculous even today to force French on 98% of Canada that speaks English. It is sheer absurd!
@ Tom,
Not only absurd, but counter productive to fulfillment
The English are finally reaching the point of real and justified anger. The number of people , in this country, particularly in the west are getting really ticked off.
Ontario will lite the fuse, but the bomb will be ignited in the west.
When that bomb explodes, in the form of mass public pressure and public outcrys it will hit with a force that will finally put an end to forced bilingualism and hopefully quebec as well.
We are just entering the pre-game warmup stage of this movement.
Hpefully you will join us in your support.

Well said this has been happening since I started commenting,I had observed for weeks prior to commenting.
I got involved after the many insulting comments and misinformation.
But what got me involved was the obvious racial comments as well bigoted statements the other side portrayed they thought the could do this with impunity that has existed for 40 odd years .
It would seem almost a cultural, but I know its not as many of my friends and family are not like that ,but some feel elitism within society.
Well I refuse to allow SEGREGATION,RACISM,DISCRIMINATION to no longer prevail in our country,All peoples are equal .
–
Segregation-(9 french only clinics -Alexandria -segregated buses for school children)
-Racism -Quebec and its treatment of Anglophones
-Discrimination-Government discrimination through hiring process.
Why hire with language taking precedence over merit -CCH and Chris Cameron Registered nurse who was obviously the best qualified applicant but the hospital deemed French more important then actually knowing your Job.
-Discrimination 65% of government hires are Francophones when Francophones are 21-22% of the population!
(they call that reasonable accommodation?)or would others prefer WHERE NUMBERS WARRANT?
I say this has been done with impunity for 40 Years too long .
Times they R a changing.
Yes Tap Tap “We are just entering the pre-game warmup stage of this movement.”
That “Bomb”-has been developed over 40 odd years of oppression ,but myself I think it will be Quebec or New Brunswick that will light the “fuse” but Ontario will greatly contribute to the “bang”.

So I say to you Pierre thanks fellow Canadian, really Christmas-like of you.
Actually Pierre I have not been misguided, when I mentioned the language police (and that’s what I call them no matter what title you give them) I witnessed with my own eyes these things Pierre, and I don’t live in Gatineau and I don’t live in Quebec.
And as for your last comment, yes Pierre I have been saddened by this since I was 18 after being told my French wasn’t good enough when I applied to my first job. You see Pierre I tried. I was educated in the language from Kindergarten through Grade 8, and French courses in high school. I did not live in a French environment and was so I have to say I was very proud of my accomplishment. But since that day in August 1971 when I was told I didn’t have enough knowledge of the French language to work in it I have had this ache in my heart. It has never left me. It took quite some time, but I did over the years, take more French classes, even classes offered through my present place of employment, but I am not not fluently bilingual and therefore not able to apply to the jobs that I know I am qualified for. So yes Pierre I will be saddened by what you say about our government and very disgusted by the fact that you on the other hand is the person at the other end of the line when I call our government.
I would like to add thank goodness I am more like Highlander and edudyorlik. I would appreciate it if you ignore my posts because I cannot tolerate your responses and I mean that, you don’t understand the heartache. At this time I want to wish you a Merry Christmas, enjoy your family; I know I will. My family that now includes some very understanding French Canadians.
@ Ken December 22, 2012 at 6:15 pm
Thank you for the background. Very sorry to hear of your and your colleagues’ experience. It must indeed have been traumatic.
My comment, if looked at carefully, was speculative. Really a question: Could it be that francophones achieve positions of influence because they work harder at their English than (implied) anglophones at their French?
My comment ended with “Just asking.”
To your credit you, unlike some, have provided an answer. Never mind your later “smartass” remark.
That said, a French conspiracy to take over Canada and ruin our democracy, as several are saying on this thread. Come on, people, get real!
The REAL THREAT to Canadian democracy is the Harper gang with their ideology of unfairness, their omnibus bills, their unilateral decision-making, their dismantling of legislation to protect Canada’s pristine environment, their plans to sell out Canada’s natural resources at the expense of Canada’s environment, their neglect of the poor, the mentally ill, and Canada’s First Nations peoples [Harper’s grand apology to the First Nations a few years ago looks more and more hollow by the day], their punitive attitudes to those who fall through the social safety net and get into trouble. To top it off, their refusal to listen to facts, evidence, experts, or anyone with different views. More than that, their ruthless silencing of differing views. These are the people who are holding Canadian democracy to ransom. And they were elected by only 24% of the Canadian electorate (= 40% of the 60% who voted)!!!

Welcome to discrimination Rosie ,nothing like that feeling eh,not because of your race, religion ,color ,sexual orientation ,but because of a LANGUAGE.
Did you know that under the Canadian charter you can discriminate by language because it is not recognised yet the United Nations recognises that you can discriminate by Language?
But hell even segregation used to be law in the states ,now we import it to Canada and now have French only clinics, yet bilingualism everywhere else.

Well PJ many know that this exists ,many would agree.
But most of your last tirade of a comment was political only ,you may not agree but the voters put Harper in whether you like it or not of which by your political tirade you do not.
Oh by the way he’s here to stay even the next election ,the liberals are lost cause at the moment ,NDP which would be your affiliation is regional and with thier stand with Quebec they will remain that way.
So your stuck with Harper who will be one of the most revered Prime Minister’s ever in history ,whether you like it or not.

Maybe you haven’t been on the planet long enough to know when this all began back in 1969 – Pierre Trudeau.
Those of us who have come from “ground zero” since the evil plan was conceived and put it no operation have seen it’s evolution.
Why do you think the Francophones are opposing us, give it some thought. They are afraid of losing the only advantage they have over Anglophones.
One day you will recall we told you.

Wow !!! I for one Rosie, could FEEL that raw emotion in what you have written here. That raw emotion that I am so familiar with. Why? Because I feel it too, and have felt it for years now also. As a matter of fact there are MANY of us who have “felt it” and are feeling it now. We have felt that sense of wrongness that exists in this country, our country.
Have faith everyone, I say to you now Rosie and everyone. Hang in there. We are waking up. The strength and character of our MAJORITY numbers WILL BE HEARD. And, with a little effort and some hope we can bring this country back to an equitable footing so that our children and their children WILL NOT have to be pushed aside, rejected for employment and representation in their own government, and made to feel like second class citizens in their our country anymore.
We tried to be nice and offered “them” more than I believe they would have offered us had the tables been turned but, they took advantage of our kindness and generosity. It’s too much… It’s gone too far now and we MUST take a stand and stop this insanity.
PS: i feel so badly for the Anglophones in Quebec (Canadian citizens in their own country no less) and those in New Brunswick as well who are even worse off than us.
@ Rosie
What do I mean when I say, everything I’ve told you is a fact that, can be verified, any time. I mean, everything I’ve told you, can be verified, anytime.
It’s self explanatory, Rosie.
By saying, you’re going to be unhappy with all your governments for the rest of your life I mean that bilingualism, in the federal government is here to stay and, I expect some in the Ontario government too. That, like it or not, will not change.
And when I say that you have been misguided, I mean that many of you, have been.
Look, I’ve been fighting the anti bilingualism movement in Eastern Ontario and in Western Québec for many years now. Not because I believe that anyone can kill it. I know they can’t. It’s constitutional and it’s institutionalized.
At first, what I was fighting, is the lies and the distortions and the spin that most anglo media put on the Québec’s “Charte de la Langue Française” and on it’s applcation. Front and foremost, I was fighting low green and cfra. but also galganov but, he was quickly kicked out Montreal, by anglos as well as francos who, wanted to live together, in peace.
We were not so lucky in the Pontiac It took years to shut green up. But when we did, the linguistic atmosphere became much less poluted and most of the anglos in the Pontiac now accept law 101. That also, can be checked.
Look, I’m sure most of you and Beth Trudeau have listened to green for many years. That’s why I say that you’ve been misguided.
The power that man has over his listeners is hypnotic. For example, remember the money, he collected for that little girl who needed an operation. He cried and he amassed close to $ 150,000, that one morning. Steve Mately said that anybody else would not have collected more than a few thousands. Extraordinary power and, when he used it to stur you up against the “language police” and then official bilingualism, I say, you were under his control and, he did it, not because he cared about the issues. He was working on his show’s ratings, that’s all!
I tell you this because I want you to understand that I don’t really blame you. But, I will continue to try to make you understand the error of your efforts.

PJ Robertsonwrote, “The REAL THREAT to Canadian democracy is the Harper gang”
You MAY be (I said MAY) be right PJ but we have tried the “Liberal” ideal and guess what? All they did was give away the country to the Francophones on a damn silver platter. More and more each and every year. Taking down statues, renaming our agencies, removing the “royal” so as not to offend the French (they are supposed to represent ALL the people as the FEDERAL government for crying out loud) and numerous other things (too many to name including throwing tons of our hard earned money at them over the years) to appease the minority Francophones of this country.
So yes, as I said, you MAY be right about “the Harper gang” but at least we’ll be doing all those BAD things in — ENGLISH — That’s right English. The freekin common language of this land. Over 80% (closer to 96% outside of that god forsaken province that discriminates against our Canadian citizens) And there is NOTHING wrong with English or the Canadian flag.
Further more, what the heck happened to Canada’s national anthem anwyays. No one asked me if I agreed to have it changed to this almost totally French version…
Yet another example of “Anglophone being inclusive” while Quebec and the French are exactly the opposite.
I, for one, would like to have had a say in whether we wanted the national anthem altered in ANY WAY. Besides, the Francophones has adopted their own flag and national anthem. Once again, they have everything they want while also pushing their crap on the ROC. We’re fed up on this SH[]t
But hey, it’s almost Xmas so
Have a nice day eh 🙂

“By saying, you’re going to be unhappy with all your governments for the rest of your life I mean that bilingualism, in the federal government is here to stay and, I expect some in the Ontario government too.”
-So he’s telling you Rosie discrimination and Racism is here to stay in the federal and provincial government so you might as well give up on your rights!
” Look, I’ve been fighting the anti bilingualism movement in Eastern Ontario and in Western Québec for many years now.
“So he is promoting bilingualism in Quebec ,so do you promote equal bilingualism in Quebec Pierre?
” Front and foremost, I was fighting low green and cfra.”
“We were not so lucky in the Pontiac It took years to shut green up.”
“But when we did, the linguistic atmosphere became much less poluted and most of the anglos in the Pontiac now accept law 101.”
So Pierre let me get this right you were fighting the anti bilingual groups in Ontario and western Quebec but you back the anti bilingual bill 101 in Quebec?
{MODERATED}
People out there do you not see the irony in how he defends bilingualism outside Quebec but not within?
You Pierre are the worst of {MODERATED}
Everyone it’s the holidays and I don’t want to have CFN spend extra time moderating. Please refrain from personal attacks.
Hey Rosie, can you believe some of this stuff? I already posted some video to SHOW how Pierre’s “FACT’s” are not so FACTUAL.
Also Rosie, (and others) isn’t it’s interesting how he points out to us (the majority) exactly what we need to fight to have removed.
“bilingualism, in the federal government is here to stay and, I expect some in the Ontario government too.” Bzzzzztttt.
AND
“It’s constitutional and it’s institutionalized.”
It MAY be institutionalized now because of our original kindness and later apathy but, that is changing. As for constitutional. Sure, stack the deck with Francophones, they will do everything in your favor, right or wrong but, that DOES NOT make it constitutional in the “real” sense of that concept.
And then of course there is this load of pure do do…
Montreal, by anglos as well as francos who, wanted to live together, in peace. (guess you forgot the FLQ)
We were not so lucky in the Pontiac It took years to shut green up. But when we did, the linguistic atmosphere became much less poluted and most of the anglos in the Pontiac now accept law 101. That also, can be checked.”
Yeah cute, you shut them up so “then” it was much less polluted. Funny what a good whoopin will do. Sounds like back in the days of slavery. Shut them all up and now we can go about our business of repressing them even more. Same cr@p different era. You Freekin people are unfreekin believable.
As if the Anglo’s accepted law 101. The idea that Anglo’s accept this is similar to the plight of children living with parents who are abusive. They accept it because they have little to no other choices. It’s a downright shame. The francophone zealots are so full of it they can’t even recognise this simplistic FACT.
And, as we all know (or should know) much of bill 101 — IS NOT constitutional — They have used a clause “called the not withstanding clause” (so conveniently added by Trudeau) in order to shove this malarkey down our throats. The reason that “clause” HAD TO BE USED is because those parts it was used on — WERE indeed unconstitutional — and would not have been allowed otherwise. So voila, use of the not withstanding clause turns out for them to be – their santa-clause :- ) Sorry, couldn’t resist.
Anyways, i say, good for you Rosie for telling Pierre you don’t care for his posts and will not pay any more attention to him because you know what? He and those like him, don’t deserve our attention and efforts. Let’s keep focusing on what WE NEED TO do to rid this country of this scourge. And, by that i mean official bilingualism. Course, we could use some nice institutionalized official bilingualism in the province of Quebec 🙂
@ Rosie,
Thank you for sharing that most honest and heartwarming story.
To live through your experience is very demeaning and insulting. I have not personally experienced what hvae gone through, but have heard of many, many similar experiences like the one you had.
Who fought for you? Certainly not the politicans , or so called training programs that were there to supposedly assist you.
I would like somone to come out with a definition of bilingualism .
Does it mean written, oral , and to what degree?
Does the job NEED a fully bilingual person?
I see french people in federal jobs that can barley speak English or that their accents are so bad, so as to be incomprehencable
However, when the English take a test their french must be perfect, written and oral.
As for pierre, he always wants to prove his fscts, but never does. His attempt at proof is always some lame newspaper article or similar such unsubstanicated source.
He Attacks Lowell green, yet it was Mr. green that rallied to the support of the little girl that needed the operation, not the caring, selfless, and dedicated MDM. Meilleur. Who didn’t lift a finger.
I believe Mr. green, has the following he has, becausde HE CAN BACK UP HIS FACTS.
Most good leaders that can do so, and have the guts to stand up to the Pierre’s of the world .
It is for these reasons that Mr. Green is constantly attacked . But Never beaten and NEVER silenced
To imply that everyone is brainwashed because of Mr. Green is like saying none of us have minds of our own, what an ignorant statement
In Montreal , another journalist and writer Mordeci Richler, was treated the same , by the sepratists . My of his books were right on the money and for that Mr. Richler was castongated.
Good for you Rosie, your are among friends here, as well as allies in our fight to put a stop to this injustice.
As for pierre, I ,along with many others, already listed here, choose ignore the rants of a person that in my opinion, is undeserving of a Canadian passport, and hopefully more than a deserving receptient of full quebec citizenship, when that finally happens, sooner rather than later
@ edudyorlic at 1:11 PM re national anthem
National Anthem Act was passed in 1985 with the lyrics only in English.
http://laws-lois.justice.gc.ca/eng/acts/N-2/page-1.html
Heritage Canada website says the bilingual version is non-official:
Lyrics O Canada (Bilingual version – non official)
Why in the hell this non-official version is forced in all government official ceremonies? It’s time to ask my MP and the Heritage minister Moore.
@P.J Robertson
Civility , like most things in life, is a two-way street.
As for democracy, when the supreme court refuses to hear the Brisson Galganov case, especially in light of the fact that judges at a lower said that Brisson and galganov had been correct, as a matter of law, but that it is better for the french to get thier way.
No P.J. , we do not have democracy as thread title states
@P.J.Robertson
Noting you are Scottish it might be a revelation to you that the forces of bilingualsim were at work in Glasgow in 1969. A French Canadian with a distinct Quebecois dialect was screening out English applicants applying to the Canadian Embassy for a visa. More than I ran into that one. I know, I was there.
Now to pick up on your very commendable comment about the “Harper” government. re: their neglect of the poor, the mentally ill, and Canada’s First Nations peoples.
Have you any idea how much of our tax dollars have been wasted on promoting and pushing bilingualism?
Wouldn’t it have been more humane and productive to put that money to good use on the things you accuse the Conservatives of neglecting. P.J. we are talking billions, and to put that into context,
a billion is one thousand million. staggering isn’t it.
Take note of this: Bilingualism is a product of Pierre Trudeau and has been forced on Anglpohnes for ~ 35 years by the LIBERALS.
Harper inherited this huge bilingual farce from the demagoue Trudeau and has been living with it since he took office.
Hopefully P.M.Harper will soon see the light and get rid of bilingualism. For that he needs support from the 95% Anglophones outside
Quebec and the you know whats to do it.

Well Stella you are in good company suited for yourself.
So Pierre why is it you promote bilingualism in Ontario but not in Quebec ?
You are really disgusting in your view points ,you would prefer others (not pure lain) to be second class citizens .
Any form of Rac*s*,Man it pisses me off!
But Pierre I cant blame you for your Rac**m you in Quebec have been brainwashed into believing the English are “The Bad People “.
I should not blame you! For your social enclave (Quebec) for it promotes this radical anti English behavior and its starts from the preschool level .
The Parents teach their children that English is most foul, a second class .You see Pierre its not fair to accuse you since you were brought up that way .You see Ra*i*m is taught through loved ones ,and because of this: people like you do not see your social faults in this.
Even the deep Southerners denied their Rac*s*,but to them they were the help.
THIS IS HOW QUEBEC TREATS ITS MINORITIES

@ P J … Joyeux Noël!
That will get a few more heads exploding.
To everybody else… Happy December 25th!! 🙂
To Pierre,
A friend of mine who lives in Montreal sent me this link;
The Top 20 reasons why Bill 101 is a nuisance in modern Quebec…

@ ed
What is a happy december 25th. ?–OH
Do you mean Merry Christmas, or can’t you say it.
we are a Judeo-Christian country , or were you not aware of this ?
Another characteristic of the “charter of rights” . You have a right NOT TO PRACTICE THE RELIGIOUS IDEOLOGY one of the hallmarks that the country was founded on.
At least ed, you are consistent in your anti-canadian ways
This greeting coming from you is ,like all your posts, meaningless
and save us the nausea of not responding
Ed, a voice of sanity, merci & a very Merry Christmas to you!
@admin
Thank you for the tireless work and care you put into keeping this blog clean.
Merry Christmas & Best Wishes to you and all at CFN
Ken
Ed@ P J … Joyeux Noël!
To everybody else… Happy December 25th!!
I have to ask Ed, did something get lost in translation?
Merry Christmas and all the best in 2013 Jamie, and to all at CFN.
@ admin
many thanks for all of your time and effort to do what you do.
This site is a rallying point for the majority that have been abandon by those who claim they care ( politicans)
I thank you for that.
I wish you and your families at CFN a very Merry Christmas
and the happiest of new years.
From the heart
@ Ken
I know you understand some french.
Prime minister Harper will be speaking to the Québécois on this Holliday Season.
You and tap tap have a listen ok.
We’ll see if he feels anythiing like, “Been Tapped on the Head too Much” says he does?
I’ll tell you in advance he does’nt because, he wants to be the Prime Minister of all Canadians and his Canada includes Québec.
Merry Christmas and Joyeau Noel a tout mes amis a CFN, au Timmins et Cornwall.
It’s nice to be down in Cornwall visiting family for the holidays.
Best wishes for 2013.
Cory
@ Pierre
P.M. Harper is a nice person and he would like to keep Canada united, including Quebec. I imagine he dreams of this bilingual nightmare and hopes it will go away. However, it isn’t going to happen and one day the Anglophones will rise up. I predict one of two things WILL happen. Quebec will separate, or bilingualism will be abolished along with all the laws pertaining to it; or both.
Let that be my present to you.
Merry Christmas Pierre.
@ Concerned Citizen 2
Have read the article your friend has sent you.
Opinions we read all the time.
the anglophone writer, blogger, says he’s bilingual but seems to me the french parts of his article were auto translations.
Took down his e-mail address though, and will try to exchange with him after the holidays.
It is truly amazing how members of the FRAUD SQUAD, are not only, bankrupt of facts, blind tp reality and in denial of what 27 million REAL CANADIANS want, but are now supposedely mind readers.
