  1. Cornwall was already number one for sexual assaults

  2. What was not mentioned here was a Blue Line Taxi Driver who assaulted a woman in his cab when he picked her up at Hunt Club and Bank Street. We heard it on the car radio but they didn’t mention the name of the driver or anything. When we got home my son read it on his phone and he is aged 52. When my son spelled out the name of the driver he said that he must be a Shia Islamic by the name.

Yes Cornwall has always been #1 in sexual assaults and that is so true indeed. We are living in an insane world today. What my husband said to me many times is that you do not sit with the driver and you do not make conversations nor smile at them and people of other countries do not have our mentality and they think that everyone is loose.

  3. Thanks to all the awareness of sexual assault AND A VERY HIGH AD RATE. (IE NAV SPAR) SUPPORTING REPORTING SEXUAL ASSAULTS to the sexual assault team at the hospital CORNWALL IS PROBABLY GUILTY OF THIS POSITION but number one thats probably very debatable. Maybe Cornwall ranks number one in reporting sexual assault not sexual assaults AND THATS A GOOD THING if anything about sexual assault could be deemed good, Stats do lie all the time its all in how you interpret .
Thank God this lady reported it maybe she did because of all the positive advertisements encouraging her to do so. Food for thought !

  4. So Jules says we should never smile at or talk to foreign-looking people. It only invites trouble.
    Un freaking believable!

  5. Especially ” Shia Islamic” cab drivers! Letches! All of them!

  6. Furtz why is that you and Bella jump on everything I say. It seems that you are a juvenile. I was referring to the mentality of that race and not just them but other people around the world have that mentality as well. Canadians and Americans invite trouble on themselves when they are the guilty ones and the foreign person falls prey. Furtz if you are a senior then you haven’t grown up at all.

  7. Speaking for myself, I jump on most things you say because you have no filter, and you insult people with almost every post you make. You insist on categorizing everyone by the colour of their skin or where they were born/live, and then you malign each group you name. You have managed to insult my entire family, my extended family, my friends and neighbours.

I still remember how offended you were when someone put your hubby in his appropriate grouping, by your rules. The offense in your response to the poster was palpable. How dare anyone group your dear hubby with the rest of those people?!?!

Honey I am not juvenile in age or mentality. I am offended by ignorance and hatred, and will not sit quietly by and watch while anyone spews such vitriol as you do. If you do not like what I have to say, perhaps you should choose your words more carefully and be a kinder more considerate poster.

  8. @ Jules. Since you asked, I think a lot of us harbor a little racism and xenophobia to some extent, but most of us know it’s wrong and keep it to ourselves on a public forum. As bella says, you have no filter.

  9. OMG!! Jules, did you really just go there? You may have good intentions but what’s coming out of your mouth sounds so ethnocentric and I’m sorry to say, racist. I agree with Furtz, adopt a social filtre, I’m surprised your coments were published.
