Corus Radio in Cornwall (CJSS CFLG) Gets New Poobah; Welcome to Cornwall Mark Dickie!

Corus Entertainment Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment of Mark Dickie as General Manager of Corus’ radio stations in Ottawa and Cornwall, effective February 3, 2014.

In his new role, Mark will be responsible for providing strong leadership and strategic direction to the Ottawa radio stations, CKQB-FM and CJOT-FM, and the Cornwall stations CJSS-FM and CFLG-FM.

“Last week, we were pleased to receive approval on the acquisition of the radio stations CKQB-FM and CJOT-FM, which will close January 31, 2014, enabling Corus to enter the important Ottawa radio market,” said Mario Cecchini, President, Corus Média and Head of Eastern Ontario, Radio and Television. “Mark’s more than 20 years of experience managing major-market stations and delivering strong results will be of tremendous value to our new Ottawa stations and to the Cornwall market.”

Most recently, Mark was General Manager/General Sales Manager of 92.5 The Beat in Montreal.  Previously, Mark held the position of General Manager/General Sales Manager, Q92/940 Montreal.
