Donald Popadick Exposes Himself in Ottawa – Police Blotter for Wednesday April 30, 2014 CPS OPS

Cornwall, ON – Rodney Seguin, age 35, of Cornwall was arrested on April 29, 2014.  He  is bound by a Probation Order with the relevant condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour.  On April 17, 2014, he failed to attend court as ordered in relation to a Theft Under $5000 charge.  He was subsequently charged with Failing to Appear in Court and Breach of Probation.  He was released to attend court on May 29, 2014.

 

Cornwall, ON – Samuel Rathwell, age 31, was arrested on April 29, 2014.  Cornwall Police received information that the male was staying at a local hotel.  Investigation revealed that he was wanted for Domestic Offences by Lanark OPP and wanted for Fraud related Offences by Ottawa Police Service.  The male was located and arrested at the west end hotel.

He was held in custody and turned over to the OPP upon their arrival.

WARRANT AND DOMESTIC

Cornwall, ON – A 19 year old Cornwall male was arrested on April 28, 2014. He is bound by a Probation Order with the relevant condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. On this date police responded to a domestic incident on Seventh Street. Upon arrival police met up with the 17 year old female victim outside of the residence. Investigation revealed that an outstanding warrant existed for the male’s arrest for two counts of Uttering Threats, Assault with a Weapon, Possession of a Dangerous Weapon and Breach of Probation in relation to a separate 20 year old female victim. The male remained inside the residence for a period of time after which he came out and turned himself over to police. He was taken into custody. Further investigation revealed that between December 1, 2011 and April 28, 2014 the male was criminally abusive toward his 17 year old girlfriend on numerous occasions. He was charged with eight counts of Assault with a Weapon, six counts of Assault, three counts of Overcoming Resistance by Choking, two counts of Uttering Threats, two counts of Domestic Mischief, one count of Cruelty to Animals, one count of Possession of a Dangerous Weapon, and four counts of Breach of Probation. The male was held for a Bail Hearing on April 29, 2014.

DOMESTIC

Cornwall, ON – A 21 year old Cornwall male was arrested on April 28, 2014. He is bound by a Probation Order with the relevant condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is alleged that on this date he engaged in a verbal argument with his 23 year old girlfriend which escalated into him causing damage to her mother’s vehicle and threatening her. Police were contacted and an investigatin was conducted. The male was charged with two counts of Uttering Threats, Domestic Mischief, and Breach of Probation. He was held for a Bail Hearing on April 29, 2014.

(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Section have charged a 62 year old Ottawa man following an incident at Mooney’s Bay Park situated on Riverside Drive.
Ottawa Police had received several complaints of an adult male exposing himself in this park since April 14th, 2014.

On April 29, 2014  around 9:00 am, an adult male exposed himself to a person near a pathway in the park. Police were in the area and were alerted. The suspect was arrested at the scene.

On April 29th, 2014, the Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Unit charged Donald POPADICK, 62 years old, of Ottawa, with Indecent Act and Mischief. He is to appear in court on Wednesday.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 60’s, balding with white hair wearing prescription eyeglasses.
