            Cornwall, ON – Michael Terry, 36 of Cornwall was arrested on July 29th, 2014 and charged with two counts of assault police and for being intoxicated in a public place. It is alleged that on July 29th, 2014 police were called to attend a Second Street East address in relation to a disturbance. Once on scene they located the intoxicated man and took him into custody. While at police headquarters during the booking process the man spat on two police officers. He was charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

WARRANT

            Cornwall, ON – Dawn Lapensee, 30 was arrested on July 29th, 2014 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged that on July 29th, 2014 while at police headquarters for an unrelated matter the woman was arrested on the strength of a committal warrant for driving offences. As a result she was held in custody.

 

THREATS

            Cornwall, ON – A 35-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on July 29th, 2014 and charged with threats to property. It is alleged that on July 15th, 2014 the man threatened to burn his 32-year-old ex-common-law wife’s property that remained at his residence. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On July 29th, 2014 the man was located at his residence, taken into custody and charged accordingly. He was transported to police headquarters and released to appear in court on August 26th, 2014. His name was not released as it might identify the victim in the matter.
