THREATS, ASSAULT, BREACH
Cornwall, ON – A 20-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on October 3rd, 2014 and charged with assault, threats and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged that on October 3rd, 2014 during an argument with his 21-year-old common-law wife, the man grabbed her by the shoulders and threatened to punch her. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During their investigation the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
THREATS
Cornwall, ON – Issac Roderick, 36 of Cornwall was arrested on October 3rd, 2014 and charged with two counts of threats. It is alleged that during a phone conversation on September 26th, 2014 the man threatened to punch and kick the teeth of a 26-year-old man and a 27-year-old woman that was known to him. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On October 3rd, 2014 the man attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on October 28th, 2014.
THEFT UNDER $5000, BREACH
Cornwall, ON – Paul Kameka, 35 of Cornwall was arrested on October 3rd, 2014 and charged with theft under $5000 and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged that on October 3rd, 2014 the man attended a Ninth Street grocery store and removed packages of meat making no attempts to pay for the items as he left the store. He was stopped by the Loss Prevention Officer and taken into custody after a brief struggle. Police were contacted and took the man into custody. He was charged accordingly and released to appear in court on November 4th, 2014.
ASSAULT
Cornwall, ON – Justin Villeneuve, 24 of Maxville was arrested on October 4th, 2014 and charged with assault. It is alleged that in the early morning hours of October 4th, 2014 during an argument with a taxi driver the intoxicated man punched the driver several times in the head and police were contacted. During their investigation the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and later released to appear in court on November 4th, 2014.
MISCHIEF
Cornwall, ON – Roch Pariseau, 20 of Cornwall was arrested on October 4th, 2014 and charged with mischief. It is alleged that in the early morning hours of October 4th, 2014 during an argument with a 19-year-old man he the damaged a door by slamming it and punching the glass causing it to break. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During their investigation the man was located at his residence, taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on October 30th, 2014.
POSSESSION OF DRUGS, POSSESSION OF A PROHIBITED WEAPON, BREACH
Cornwall, ON – Kayla Clute, 24 of Kahnawake was arrested on October 4th, 2014 and charged with possession of hydromorphone, marihuana, brass knuckles and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged that on October 4th, 2014 a member of the Cornwall Community Police Service assumed custody of the woman who was taken into custody at the port of entry for being in possession of the items. She was transported to police headquarters and held for a bail hearing.
WARRANT
Cornwall, ON – A 19-year-old Snye, Quebec man was arrested on October 5th, 2014 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged that the man failed to attend court on March 8th, 2014 for possession of marihuana and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On October 5th, 2014 a member of the Cornwall Community Police Service assumed custody of the man as he had been taken into custody at the port of entry on the strength of the warrant. He was transported to police headquarters and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as the original charge stems from when the man was a youth and is protected under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
THEFT UNDER
Cornwall, ON – Richard Marini, 50 of Cornwall was arrested on October 5th, 2014 and charged with theft under $5000. It is alleged that on October 5th, 2014 the man entered a Second Street East grocery store and removed meat and cheese making no attempts to pay for the items as he left the store. He was taken into custody by the Loss Prevention Officer after a brief foot chase and police were contacted. The man was charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
ASSAULT, ASSAULT WITH A WEAPON
Cornwall, ON – Carmel Roseler, 27 of Cornwall was arrested on October 5th, 2014 and charged with assault and assault with a weapon and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged that on October 5th, 2014 during a disagreement with a 45-year-old while at a Lesieux Street address the woman threw a chair striking the 45-year-old in the ribs. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During their investigation the woman was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

(Ottawa)—Today, the Ottawa Police Service Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Section charged an Ottawa man after a report of a Sexual Assault with a Weapon.
On Thursday, August 21, 2014, shortly after 4:00pm, the accused sought services from a sex trade worker in her late teens. Once at the residence, he threatened the victim with a knife and sexually assaulted her.
Adulwahed SHEHAIB, 46 years old, of Ottawa, was charged with one count of Sexual Assault with a Weapon. He appeared in court this afternoon.
Investigators believe there could be other victims.
SHEHAIB is described as Middle Eastern with grey and black beard and moustache, 5 ft 10 in tall (178 cm), 221 lbs (100 kg).

(Ottawa)— The Guns and Gangs section is currently investigating a shooting that took place on Friday, October 3rd 2014 at approximately4:00PM. West Division patrol officers responded to this area after several calls were received of gunshots being heard in the area.
There has been no report of any injuries. Several witnesses have been interviewed. Five (5) bullet casings have been seized from the area.
The investigation is ongoing.
