POSSESSION OF CHILD PORNOGRAPHY
As a member of the Provincial Strategy to Protect Children from Sexual Abuse and Exploitation on the Internet, the Cornwall Community Police Servicearrested a 16-year-old Cornwall resident on August 31st, 2015 and charged him with possession of child pornography.
He was released to appear in court at a later date, on numerous conditions to protect the public, specifically children.
His name was not released as per provision of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

THEFT UNDER $5000, BREACH
Cornwall, ON – Dave Hubbard, 57 of Cornwall was arrested on August 28th, 2015 and charged with theft under $5000 and breach of recognizance and probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on August 18th, 2015 the man removed a wallet from a Vincent Massey Drive address that belonged to another man and police were contacted to investigate. On August 28th, 2015 the man was spotted walking on McConnell Avenue by a member of the Cornwall Community Police Service. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
ROBBERY, MISCHIEF, RESIST ARREST
Cornwall, ON – A 15-year-old Cornwall youth was arrested on August 30th, 2015 and charged with robbery, resist arrest and mischief. It is alleged on August 30th, 2015 the youth attended a Second Street West store and took several cell phones from the merchant. Police were contacted and spotted the youth a short distance away. She was taken into custody after a brief struggle and once at police headquarters damaged a phone within the building. She was charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. Her name was not released as per provision of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
Slow weekend of crime is better than a busy weekend of crime.
All I here on my stretch are emergency vehicles going by. I just saw an ambulance asking for the road. Earlier it was the fire department – it never stops here.
