The Ottawa Police Service Sexual Assault and Child Abuse (SACA) Section has charged an Ottawa man following an investigation into an allegation of child sexual assault.
On November 22nd, 2015, incidents were reported to Ottawa Police that a child (under 14 years old) had been sexually assaulted this summer at a home in the Centretown area. No further details will be released about the incidents so as not to identify the victim.
Harley OLEKSUIK, 38 years old, of Ottawa is charged with Sexual Assault, Sexual Interference, and Sexual Exploitation. He is scheduled to appear in court today.
SACA investigators are concerned that there could be other victims.
