Domestic Threats in South Dundas #OPP March 8, 2016

DOMESTIC INVESTIGATION

(South Dundas) – On March 7, 2016 at approximately 4:34pm, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to a report of a domestic situation at a residence on county Road 31, South Dundas Township. Investigation revealed that an altercation between an adult male and his ex-spouse resulted in the female being threatened.

A 59-year-old male from South Dundas Township was arrested and is charged with;

– Uttering Threats

He was released and scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall on April 5, 2016. His name is not being released in order to protect the identity of the victim.

BREAK-IN/THEFT

(South Dundas) – Overnight (March 4-5, 2016) a shed at a property on Levere Road, South Dundas Township was entered and the following was stolen;

– 2013 Can Am 650 All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV), black with winch and hunting case
– Battery Tester
– Mac Tools battery pack
– Snap-On antifreeze tester
– Assorted hand tools

An investigation continues.
