DANGEROUS OPERATION OF A MOTOR VEHICLE
Cornwall, ON – Brett Denneny, 24 of Ingleside and Mark Ratayczak, 52 of Corrnwall were arrested on April 20th, 2016 and charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle. Denneny was also charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing bodily harm. It is alleged on March 2nd, 2016 both men were operating their motor vehicles in a dangerous manner on Hwy 401 and exited Hwy 401 at Brookdale Avenue. While on the exit, Dennenys’ car struck Ratayczak after he had exited his vehicle, causing Ratayczak to seek medical attention. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On April 20th, 2016 both men attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. Both were taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on May 19th, 2016.
BREAK AND ENTER, ASSAULT, ASSAULT, ASSAULT WITH A WEAPON, THREATS, POSSESSION OF BREAK IN TOOLS, BREACH
Cornwall, ON – Travis Moore, 23 of Cornwall was arrested on April 20th, 2016 and charged with the following:
- Three counts of breaches of Probation for failing to keep the peace and being within 50 meters of a certain address
- Two counts of break and enter
- Four counts of assault
- assault with a weapon
- possession of B&E tools
- robbery
- uttering threats to cause death
It is alleged on April 20th, 2016 the man entered a Second Street residence without permission and assaulted a woman and bit a man. It is also alleged the man entered a Marlborough Street residence without permission and kicked a man at that location. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During their investigation police learned the man also assaulted and threatening a clerk at a local store while demanding money. He was located by police, taken into custody and found to be in possession of break in tools. He was charged accordingly and held for bail hearing.
